Hotel Palacio Garvey

the location is excellent and very pleasant. Just down the street are very pretty plazas with orange trees, friendly bars. I walked everywhere I wanted to visit

The hotel is very masculine in its design. Enormous rooms with heavy furniture, I don’t know when the interiors were designed, but stuck somewhere in the 20th century… I would say very oriented to businessmen. Out of date technology… cd player was odd, and not enough handy electricity points for recharging. A dark interior room though extremely clean and comfortable, the hotel needs to be bought up to date. It needs more charm in my opinion

What a great little hotel. It has its own parking and though a tight space was perfectly fine for our car. This is a boutique hotel and our room was unique. A fabulous space with high ceilings and a roll top bath as well as an excellent shower. We were B&B and the continental breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful and polite. The only negative I have is that I’d like Tea/Coffee facilities in the room. This wouldn’t stop me going again. Thanks to the team for a lovely experience

We like places like this, historic walls surrounding you, an old palacio who could tell you many many stories of the past. It's been a wonderful experience again, that is why we choose historic atmosphere over modern and more convenient places. Staff was super friendly and helpful

With these old walls transformed into 4star hotels certainly come some hardships, as for example small stairs because they couldn't install an elevator. Accepted, we knew beforehand what building it is. Not necessarily negativ. Breakfast was a little meager. Biggest problem: streetfront rooms face two very well frequented watering holes / tapa bars, that attract people until (sometimes) 4:00 a.m. Very little sleep for two nights. That's Spain, we have to accept it or stay away.

Generally a good hotel in good location.

The almost non-existent wifi was unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. This made our stay very difficult and stressful. The excuse was always "it is because we have iPhones" ??? This is ridiculous so what they are saying is do not stay at the hotel if you have an iPhone, iPad or MAC. Also note the lift only goes to the first floor, not good.

Fabulous staff and breakfast. The day manager worked with us for a half-hour to find wineries. Thanks for s great stay in a beautiful room😘

should have a shower mat as it is slippery-otherwise fine
