Hotel Palacio Garvey

Located in a central but quiet location. Easy walking distance to main points of interest. The staff on reception were extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent, again with extremely helpful and friendly service. The parking facilities were easy to access and secure.

The pillows weren’t great but to be fair we didn’t address this.

The location was excellent, the overall decor was lovely and our suite was very spacious.

The pillows were very hard, and in our 2nd floor room the wifi was connecting but not providing Internet access (the 1st floor foyer was OK). Both should be better for a 4 star hotel.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. It’s the second time we’ve stayed here and we requested a quieter room overlooking the central courtyard which wasn’t a problem.

We arrived @ 2a or so. Hotel was under construction, limited elevator usage, unable to take us to our 2nd floor room. Male staff member who assisted us @ check in was very helpful. Outdated & improperly functioning thermostat...limited/no AC? Female guest attendant in morning was not very empathetic...said I should have read the book in the room or called the desk attendant at 3a. Decide for yourself but we won't stay at this hotel next time we're in the area

Location was superb, ambiance of common areas.

First room offered was very dark. We were moved to a much better room, but the beds were very soft. Internet reception did not work in the room. No kettle in room. Surprisingly for a four star hotel, no complimentary water in the rrom when we arrived.

Splendid rooms, and buildings, with an old world charm. Like someone from The Talented Mr Ripley.

Although it might have detracted from the charm of the bathroom, a shower unit would have been a practical addition.

Everything was good - location, room, staff.

The air con was a disaster - we couldn't sleep because of the heat

A very stylish and cool hotel with beautifully designed rooms, all done with great taste in an Anglo-African Safari style. The hotel has its own parking, which is very convenient (about 12€ per day$). Inside, it’s stunningly decorated with large, beautiful shower rooms and something like a jacuzzi in the bathroom. We are very satisfied with our stay!
