Staff are very efficient, very friendly

The hotel room facilities are very old and dated.Very old carpets. Bathrooms need renovating Air conditioners need updating

The room was dirty the air conditioning was not working imagine how hot is douala.. cigarettes everywhere in the balcony !! Not enough towels .. spoke with the manager of the hotel her name is Melanie I sent her the video of the dirty room that I received!! She did not border to do something.. don’t waste your time going in this hotel.. by the way the moment we wake we was ready to leave this hotel don’t deserve 4 stars maybe 2

"The Sawa has returned to its old status as being a good middle class hotel in the centre of Douala"

They have significantly improved the hotel over the last years. It is obviously still old etc., but I find this quite charming.
