Good location, friendly staff. The facilities need an upgrade.

It was a very short stay for just one night but was enough to approve room facilities, breakfast and hotel location. Wifi was ok in tge room, and staff were helpful. The hotel is also near the airport and that was great to avoid as much traffic as possible.

I stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and the quality of service and attention to details remains outstanding. Every aspect of my stay exceeded my expectations. The staff is amazing. I would not dream of staying anywhere else in Douala. The only thing that needs sorting out as quick as possible in my view is the completion of the building work in progress.

This hotel is a little shabby but very comfortable and has everything you need. Nice rooms with balcony. Comfortable bed. Safe, water, kettle, fridge iron, toiletries and English speaking TV channels. Good restaurant by the lovely swimming pool serving a wide range of meals and a nice breakfast. Just the job for a comfortable stay and close to the airport for a rest up as a non resident if you have a late flight home.

It is a mistake to book this property through Expedia. Expedia did not send my reservations information to the property and it caused me so much headache. I paid for breakfast on one of the days I reserved but Expedia claimed to the property that there was no breakfast included.

This four-star hotel offers reliability and I enjoyed a comfortable and secure stay. Rooms, though a little dated, were excellent. Mine came with a full-size bath with shower over, so I could really relax. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room as well. Large outdoor swimming pool with nice terrace surrounding it. Great food in the restaurant and excellent service throughout. I highly recommend the Hotel Sawa to anyone as it in a quiet location, yet just a few minutes away on foot from the cith centre.

Hotel SAWA is a great hotel in a good location. It is a good deal. The staff is very helpful. The on-site restaurant is clean and serves good food as well. The rooms are clean and serviced daily. The front desk staff are available and helpful. We have stayed there 3 times now. The main lobby is under construction at the moment, but they have done a good job of making the construction invisible.

Continues to be one of the better hotels in Douala and certainty better than Pullman across the road. Good sized swimming pool. They take MC and Visa. Check in all ok. Only 10 minutes drive from the airport on a sunday. Maybe longer on a weekday.
