Overlook Lodge and Stone Cottages at Bear Mountain

It was a wonderful, peaceful stay! Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Definitely coming back!

Very nice. Out if the way with beautiful views. One problem: no elevator for older guests, and the website did not mention it. Perhaps put them on the first floor? It was not easy hauling suitcases up and down the long flight of stairs. Another guest also commented on it. If we had known, we could have requested a first floor room

Overlook Lodge is filthy and smelly. We booked it thinking we were booking the Inn & didn't realize it. They send you to this disgusting out building with no staff to help with luggage, and no elevator. The staff completely washed their hands of our rez because we used Expedia, almost disapprovingly. The whole place is overrun with too many people. Bad experience, I'll never return

We celebrated a friends 60th. Bear Mountaim offers so much with bbqing, dishing, Had a great time.

The lodge rooms were very small and beat up. Do not eat at the 1915 restaurant. It was absolutely horrible. If you’re paying more than $160 for a room per night, I suggest staying somewhere else.

The lodge is better for family groups. Extra drive hard to get I. And out due to high volume traffic circle. Room was small and awkward. Stuffy and no internet due to stone construction even though they advertised internet connection,
