Friendly staff. Clean, quiet, and comfortable room. Convenient location: walking distance to restaurants, less than 30-minute walk (or 5-minute drive) to convention center.

We didn't have breakfast, but when we arrived there was bottled water avaiable, gratis. Not a fancy motel, but it was clean, served its purpose for a short visit to Tucson , conveniently located, and close to the freeway.

I couldn't ask for more from this budget motel.

We needed a place to stay for overnight, close to Downtown Tucson. This was a utility stay but we felt we got our bang for the buck. It’s a no frills motel which includes a continental breakfast. We were greeted warmly; the owner was informative and welcoming. The room is minimal but very adequate for our stay. We took an Uber to our music show which was convenient.

The University Inn has an excellent location if access to I-10 and Speedway is important, as it was for me. I also was happy to be just a five-minute drive from the Coronet Cafe, my favorite place for breakfast in Tucson. The room was spacious and efficient. Nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. It was very affordable compared to many alternatives. I'd be happy staying there again.

Location so close to the university

Very nice motel. Clean rooms and quiet neighborhood. Close to Old Tucson downtown and nice restaurants not chains.
