The price and proximity to the local community. The staff were all very professional and friendly.

There’s a lot of renovations necessary. The pool deck needs repairing and the bures are VERY dated. No wifi in the rooms

The location is great. A 20 min walk down the coast from town with beautiful views of the bay. The staff are lovely and helpful too, and the hotel offers multiple local tours which is good.

We were there the beginning of Jan which is super hot and muggy. The air con machine looks about 30 years old and struggled to churn out a trickle of cool-ish air. As a result the unit was uncomfortably hot. Due to having shutters instead of glass, it also meant that if you want air con you have to shut all the shutters and sit in darkness. The linen was stained, generally it was a bit grubby and we didn't have a bath mat, 4 lights in the bathroom were out and we didn't have hot water for a day. Another guest told us she hadn't had hot water all week! It's just shabby and run down and needs some money invested in it. We ended up changing resort halfway through our stay.

Very comfortable stay. Loved the environment.
