the reception was very friendly and tried to be helpful

the mattress was thin 16 cm , not comfortable, Okay for one night. Guests very loud at 2 am in the morning, not much noise isolation in the room. Breakfast was okay but nothing to write home about and the young man acting as a waiter was friendly and helpful

It's not a big or luxurious hotel but rooms are big enough to rest. The location is a bit far from down town so it's quiet and peaceful at night. All staffs were very friendly and kind. Enough parking place for visitors. No bath tube (it's ok), No safe in your room(I would be happier if safe was there) Breakfast is a bit modest but good enough In the evening, no one at reception desk so you should call them if you want to ask something. Not only free wifi they also provide free LAN connection (you need LAN cable). You can come and go to/from the Regensburg train station or old town by BUS line 5 (Zone 1 fare) and it takes only about 10 min. Two big supermarkets are there, in front of this hotel, you can buy almost anything you want.

This hotel is more like a bachelor apartment,however there were no dishes or cutlery only two pans and a coffee pot. The room was of decent size, but the bed was a double and seemed smaller than normal. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. We considered staying here for another night and may at another time,but our room needed some attention so decided not to stay over. The curtains didn't meet in the middle because both ends were torn and you had to pull the curtains over so far to keep the light out for the morning sun. Also wifi was nonexistent in our room so we had to go to the reception area for that. A plus was the grocery store right next door.

I enjoy visiting Regensburg and when I do, I stay at Hotel Von Heyden. The staff are lovely people who welcome us most heartily after a long overseas journey. Our accommodations have always been clean, quite and inviting. Breakfast is delicious and the hotel is located close to the city but just on the outskirts of the hustle and bustle. I love Regensburg, but it is very nice to return to the serene hotel where I can sit outside with a book in the lovely gardens. Highly recommend - priced within our budget.

This hotel has a perfect location if you want to access the city of Regensburg fast, and use a parking place at the same time. Then you can use a local transport to the center, using one ticket for the whole day for several persons for a very reasonable price. The rooms are spacious, the place is quite, shoping area nearby, the staff is very nice. Very good for a urban tourism when you want to enter by your own car.

This is a modern build near to a shopping centre. Getting to Regensburg is easy of you've got a car. The rooms are clean and modern. Reception closes early and you are given a code to get your key. There was a problem with my reservation and so a key was not left in the box for me, but this was very quickly resolved, so not a problem. It was advertised as an apartment but it did not come with cups, plates, pots and pans. I would stay here again. I has breakfast in a sandwich bar/bakery beside the hotel and it was very good.
