The Brooke Hotel

If u just want a place to sleep this is for u. The place is run down but it's quiet If u need the internet forget it never worked while I was there. I was there for 2 nights but on the second day the room was not cleaned so no clean towles or soap..

This hotel is currently under construction, and looks nothing like the photo. Both the sheets and the comforter of the bed had multiple holes presumably burned into them by cigarettes. The whole place smells a little weird, and you can hear the construction very loudly from the room. Other than that, the staff was nice, and I had no other problems. I guess that's what you get for $40

This is a third rate motel that would be 10th rate if there was such a thing. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY.

It is close to Wallis, TX and on the outskirts of Houston/ Katy traffic.

rated higher for value. motel is currently under renovations. i always worry about picking up a nail in my tire when construction is going on, but everything is ok. room has older furnishings (box tv). fresh paint job and caulked bathroom - no strong paint odors though. only bug I saw was a cricket. my tablet wouldn't connect to the internet, but its funny about that sometimes. so for the value, I was pleased with what I got for my money. I hope that plans are to make all the rooms this nice. owners were professional and kind as always. will definitely be back. thanks again

First of all, due to weather, I arrived very late, approx 9:30pm on Aug. 18, 2016. As I pulled into the half flooded, under construction parking lot, I thought I'd be safer sleeping on the street !! There were several people hanging outside drinking beer, mostly men, lots of tattoos, looking like they were gang members just out of prison ! The hotel was old and badly in need of paint, sidewalk repair, trash picked up. The manager was very nice, I had called earlier to inform them of my later than expected arrival. As soon as I said that my reservation was through Expedia, she shook her head commenting that they ALWAYS have trouble with Expedia. My room was supposed to be for 1 adult, queen bed, smoking, arrive Aug. 19, checking out Aug. 21st. It was supposed to be paid for by a $100.00 coupon Expedia issued me because of another screw up by your employee. Of course, once again your employees screwed this up too. My room. was NOT paid for with the $100.00 coupon, it wasn't paid for at all !! I called your main number only to find out that you employee cancelled my reservation that had the coupon, and made me a new reservation with no coupon !! Why I don't know and neither did anyone at Expedia ! The first person I spoke with said there was nothing she could do now, since I was already there so I asked to speak to a supervisor. This person said she could re-issue the $100.00 coupon, but I needed to pay the taxes. Fine, no problem, I'll pay the hotel the taxes in cash. No, you c

Great about late vhevkout

Pulling into the parking lot showed signs of renovations, was not told that. The place is old and very very much outdated, room smelled of water damage, dust, 1light worked,needs a whole lot of work. Rented for 2 nights, but we barely stayed 1, We left and found a much better place. We highly recommend that you take this off your site, for now atleast til they do a complete makeover

Stayed three days was no frills just nice motel.
