Hôtel Belazur

Wanted a 1 night stay in the centre of Calsis.... Bed and bathroom were the requirements and that's what we got..... The Decore is dated and the room was basic but it suited our needs. The reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful

I've stayed here a few times. It's not luxury but each time my room has been spotless and comfortable. This time had a new fitted bathroom

Curtains did not cover window Shower head broken resulting in water spraying in every direction when turned on Bedding not changed

This is a great little place if you want a reasonable priced overnight stay. The rooms are spartan but clean and fresh. We had balcony overlooking the square. Great for Restaurant and local bars.

My second stay at the Belazur last time the refurb has just started, now i can see its going to be a great hotel again its a a great location, lovely view of the square from the balcony and the staff were very kind and helpful, the breakfast at 7 euros was great value, clean and nicely decorated room.

This was a pretty decent Hotel considering the price. The neighbourhood was full of restaurants and the hotel was only about less than 10 minutes drive from Calais Port. There was no room services whatsoever. You just check in and head for the room to relax. Our room was of a decent size and had a small TV and a desk. The beds were clean, tidy and comfortable. All in all a really basic hotel but reasonably comfortable and clean for the price paid.

Was the worst hotel that i never been......

the stay was fine, it was just that the manager had a really bad attitude, as I thought I had already paid for the hotel on line. everybody else in the hotel was fine, the cook even nipped out to get me an extra crouson for breakfast. the manager could do with going on a course for public relations!!!!!

Pictures of hotel are old as is the hotel. Could use a lot of TLC. Quiet. Close to ferry but wouldn't recommend more than a night if that.

I rang ahead to warn that my husband's ferry was just leaving douvres so he would be arriving late, but would definitely arrive. He did indeed arrive late and the whole hotel was locked up. The buzzer was not getting forwarded to the guy who was meant to open the door and it was only luck that some other residents left while my husband was waiting that allowed him in. Also 9 euros for parking per night is outrageous.
