Hotel Verviers Van der Valk

wij waren er tijdens een conference, wat een ellende. veel te veel gasten en te weinig personeel. hierdoor liep veel zaken in de soep. geen parkeerplaats, moest bij de bioscoop neerzetten en ver lopen met de koffer, lang wachten op bediening voor een drankje (40 minuten) en het diner was onder maats en daarom veel te duur. vlees veel te gaar gebakken en koude asperges, ontbijt was goed omdat we vroeg gingen eten, zodat we de drukte voor waren. in de avond veel lawaai buiten op terras door deze gasten. die moeten ze toch echt melden op de website, we kwamen voor een rustig weekendje weg, en nu zaten we midden in een circus met allerlei mensen om ons heen. jammer van ons geld, veel te duur op deze manier

The hotel was very nice. It is well located. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed in two different type of rooms. The first (cheapest) was larger than the second for the dining and office space. The bed is upstairs and give a cozy atmosphere. The bathroom is a bit smaller, the shower is in the tub. The second room (middle price) has less space for the office but the bathroom has a hot-tub and a separate shower. The only bad point is that there was a lot of noise until late in the night from a large dance area in the parking lot. It draws a rough crowd from the community. It is located in a temporary structure, but people come in the hallways drunk.

Very nice stay, good location with easy food and drink options. Very nice and accommodating staff.

Het gebouw is heel mooi, de kamer echter was erg donker (één klein raam).

Très bon accueil que ce soit niveau hotellerie et niveau restauration. Personnel très accueillant. Chambre très propre, très agréable (mezzanine) et calme.

Bon séjour, dommage que les clients de l'hôtel ne puissent pas se garer devant l'hotel(c'était la corrida, nous avons du aller nous garer au Circus)...
