Los Altos Resort

We had a wonderful stay at Los Altos. We stayed in one of the townhomes. The view from our balcony was amazing, particularly when taking a dip in the plunge pool. A shoutout to Jhean Carlo who went out of this way to make our stay memorable and helped us see a group of monkeys before we left, and Andrey for his help. The hotel is truly unique and well worth the stay.

The service was fantastic and they catered to all our needs! Alex, Dylan and the other front desk staff were very accommodating from dinner recommendations to excursion bookings and communicating via what’s app. Turn down service was great and a welcome champagne and rose pedal bed for our Anniversary. The place is showing a little wear and tear. The glass in the entry way was taped looked to be cracked. The views and pool were great!

Our family of five had a fantastic time at Los Altos! Alex and all the staff were very helpful with all our needs, and my wife loved the turn down service every evening. The pool was just what the kids needed to get their energy out. I highly recommend this resort!

Amazing service with views to match! We stayed in the townhous and the entire property was beyond beautiful. we had amazing concierge service with Andre and Sebastian. Highly recommend as these 2 went above and beyond to make my 40th birthday special

10/10 would stay again! The staff are so kind and helpful, they truly went above and beyond. The views are incredible. The rooms are fantastic. The food is amazing. And the wildlife surrounding you is magical. At one point while we were enjoying the fantastic pool, a family of squirrel monkeys played together and mamas carried their babies up the trees all for us to witness. It was breathtaking. So many beautiful bird sightings including Macaws and Toucans. There is a private beach and you are walking distance from great shops and restaurants. Manuel Antonio National Park is a must visit. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed! (Avocado toast was my favorite, had it for breakfast every morning!) There is also a game room which we utilized (we had a ping pong tournament).

Los Altos was the site of a wedding we attended. The resort is in a beautiful forest on the Pacific coast with amazing views. Restaurant on-site and easy walk out of resort to several other options. Staff was very friendly and service was great.

Spent 8 amazing nights in one of the town houses. We had an amazing time enjoying the resort and surrounding area. The resort has everything you could want from a gorgeous pool with an amazing view to a secluded beach with drink and food service. The room was beautiful and staff was warm, welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. Well it does rain in May you can still enjoy the pool and beach as it mostly rains at night. The food and drinks at the resort were also delicious. Oh and the best part was meeting Tigere, the resort kitty. He’s the sweetest.

Great hotel , the views are incredible, the staff are great very friendly, Sebastian and Glen make our vacation great . It is a dream hotel the location the service and facilities are unusual for this area. We recommend. Also we want to that dinning options are available and are very good

The townhomes are an incredible experience. Having two stories with balconies on both floors overlooking the ocean is incredible. Butler service included in the townhomes was a great way to get restaurant recommendations and turn down service. Butler also assists with excursion bookings and travel to/from the airport. Breakfast was included and plenty of options. The main restaurant is open air and overlooks the ocean as well. Just a short walk away are restaurants on the Main Street. In May, the crowds die down so no wait for restaurants or excursions.

We had the pleasure of staying in one of the townhouses at Los Altos, and it was an unforgettable experience. Surrounded by incredible wildlife and supported by an amazing staff, this is one of the rare resorts that even someone like me, who usually loves to get off property, has a hard time leaving. Just a heads-up, life moves at a slower pace here. If you're expecting immediate responses, that wasn’t my experience anywhere in Costa Rica but service was quicker at Los Altos. If you're patient and spend time in the community areas, you'll spot just about every animal you'd hope to see in Costa Rica. The grounds are expansive, including a private (and beautifully rugged) beach that's accessible by 4x4 or a long scenic walk. There’s a stunning infinity pool with a killer view, two hot tubs, food and drink service, shaded loungers, and panoramic ocean vistas. The entertainment area is also well-equipped with a pool table, air hockey, foosball, and ping pong. But beyond the scenery and amenities, what truly sets Los Altos apart is the service. The staff goes above and beyond. This is genuine, thoughtful hospitality. Big thanks to butlers Sebastián and Andrey as well as Jean Carlos Fallas for going above and beyond during our stay, their extra effort truly made a difference. These guys don’t ask, “How can I help?” they say, “Let me figure it out.” We encountered two significant challenges during our stay, and both were handled exceptionally well. During a major downpour that knocked out power for about 90 minutes (note: like most Costa Rican resorts, there’s no generator), the staff regularly checked on us, crossing through sheets of rain like nothing we’ve ever seen, to make sure we were as comfortable as possible. On another occasion, one of our group members experienced severe heat exhaustion on one of the provided nature walks. Within minutes, a golf cart arrived, followed by a brand-new Los Altos vehicle that transported them to urgent care. A local doctor even stayed late to assist after getting the call. Thanks to their quick response, our friend was back on their feet the next day. Costa Rican heat and humidity can be intense, prepare for that. But you’ll never have to worry about the level of care and service you’ll receive at Los Altos. This team is committed to delivering the best experience possible, and they truly mean it.
