The Manor - New Delhi

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Location quiet and pleasant although not very central.

Very expensive especially the food. Breakfast was good, but the Italian food was poor, oily and inappropriate. Disappointing that no Indian cuisine available. Japanese too expensive to contemplate. Patisserie had very good coffee but cakes do not make a satisfying dinner!

I have returned to The Manor because I love smaller boutique hotels .This is a 14 room hotel that has personal care for each of its guests. It is classically designed but showing a little wear today.The staff is kind, & attentive but there are a couple drawbacks today I believe the owner should attend to: 1.Better Room Air Purifiers (not the one present): We were not informed upon arrival of the room the air purifier and the very poor, dangerously unhealthy polluted exterior air seeped into the room causing us to sleep and wear n95 masks IN our room fir two days before complaining and then the staff informed us if an existing purifier that should have been plugged in. Still other hotels have better room air purifiers and it’s my hope that The Manor improves this equipment. 2. Faster attention to technical issues (no TV internet for 3 of the 5 day stay). 3. Dense Traffic: Traffic of the main road outside the hotel,although not noticeable much inside the hotel grounds,is dense . However, not a big issue. 4. Staff to Better Inform: We were not informed about the Bakery on the grounds until we were set to leave. We were not informed the 1st day of the one Indian breakfast option. Just because we were Westerners didn’t mean we only wanted eggs & toast. We complained & after that each morning breakfast was great. Staff very attentive. 5. Last Day:We had to leave before the breakfast room officially opened by 1/2hr They could not accommodate a “to go”anything. Not good service

Extremely disappointed with this hotel . I arranged for collection and they didn’t come . The place was further away than stated and I had to book another hotel because I was stranded . They didn’t even check or care whether I came or not I wish to complain and request a refund for inaccuracies and being let down

It is located in one of the quiet and posh suburbs of Delhi. It is a boutique hotel which does not have the hustle and bustle of a commercial hotel. The breakfast was hearty but if one is staying for a longer period than two days then due to lack of variety it may become boring. It has a beautiful garden setting which is well maintained. I was impressed by the response of the owner who upon contacting while overseas was able to get the local staff to handle my request for an early entry to my accommodation - very thoughtful and thanks for the same.

Entrance at night from main road to the hotel was the only discomfort.

They said they didn’t have our reservation and then charged us more for a night.

Great service and good location! Some very nice restaurants attached to the property.

Amenities could have been better for the price point. No gym / spa/ pool. Room heater provided was very old school.

As someone who travels a lot for work, and happily stays in cheaper hotels at times, this experience was nothing short of terrible. Despite having two separate bookings for myself and my colleague, we were forced to share an apartment because the hotel had apparently overbooked itself. This was not only highly unprofessional but also unacceptable, as it directly contradicted the terms of our reservations. Additionally, this was never communicated to us before arriving in the room after a full day of work meetings. Additionally, given the hazardous air pollution levels in Delhi during our stay, it was critical for the hotel to provide an air purifier. As someone with asthma, I was left in a vulnerable situation, which severely compromised my health and comfort. And finally, when these issues were raised, your staff attributed them to alleged "hackers on Booking.com." This explanation does not absolve your hotel of responsibility for the egregious service failures.

Bad location; Uber Drivers keep cancelling They Can't find location. Takes a lot of time before you find a cap. I was unpleasantly surprised that there was no warm water. The tub or shower were lukewarm. All days! No flowers or fruit in the room. Business like atmosphere Bathroom old. All kind of tools were not working. You need to ask for cleaning; you need to ask for invoice. Without asking they skip these services
