Mitsis Summer Palace

Staff make this hotel, everyone lovely. Food hit and miss. Room, great think we had the best, watching the sun go down. All in all we enjoyed our 2 weeks. Lovely island, must hire a car to see all the nooks and crannies.

Per la nostra esperienza l’hotel purtroppo non ha servizi e staff adeguati ad un hotel 5 stelle. La struttura include una zona nuova bella e un’area vecchia ancora da ristrutturare. La parte vecchia dell’hotel come la hall e la sala buffet non hanno aria condizionata e non sono ben tenute a livello di pulizia (cibo in giro, piatti sporchi accumulati, condizionatori non funzionanti completamente ricoperti di sporco nero…). In generale, i camerieri e lo staff pulizie sono disattenti e non curanti sufficientemente dello sporco. I pasti buffet hanno abbastanza ampia scelta anche se ripetitivi e la qualita’ e’ piu’ allineata a quella di un villaggio turistico di medio basso livello. Ragione per cui abbiamo cenato poche volte in hotel. La spiaggia dell’hotel ha lettini e ombrelloni vecchi e ci sono parecchi insetti, ragione per cui non ne abbiamo mai usufruito. Il bar della spiaggia e’ decadente e poco fornito. La parte nuova dell’hotel, che include camere, zone piscine e ristoranti a la carte, e’ molto bella e abbastanza ben tenuta. Le camere sono belle e sempre ben rifornite di bibite ed altro. Anche qui qualche problemino con la pulizia. Dopo aver condiviso i nostri feedback attraverso una survey online che e’ arrivata dall’hotel dopo qualche giorno di soggiorno, siamo stati convocati a parlare con un responsabile, che si e’ limitato a segnare i nostri feedback e farci ripulire la camera. C’e’ tanto ancora su cui lavorare.

It’s a nice hotel but too expensive for what it is. I also believe you need a car if your staying here and want to explore. No other restaurants are near by / walkable . This hotel is all inclusive.We had a reservation at the sushi Al a crate restaurant and we did not like any of the food. Everything was cold and was not made to order. I would rate it a 0 out of 5 . We did however enjoy the Italian / Mediterranean restaurant the med. Buffet can be a hit or miss. Beach gyro station always had a long line. Overall good rating is a 2.5 out of 5. Staff is welcoming. The room we got was close to the main building so it kept us up at night hearing the arcade games. I had a hard time finding a beach lounger since everyone claims the chairs. In my opinion the pool is cloudy/ foggy.

This hotel was a dream. Excellent food/views/service, salt water infinity pool, good beach. 10/10

Staff were so helpful and friendly. Everywhere was spotless. The food was amazing. We will definitely be coming back!!

We had a great holiday at Mitsis Summer palace. We read mixed reviews before going but for us the hotel, accomodation, food options and beach were perfect.
