Mitsis Summer Palace

We really enjoyed our October week at the Summer Palace. The staff were great and very friendly, the food was great and varied - we especially enjoyed the Greek restaurant. We spent most days at the beach, which had a free bar and a good lunch service. Our room was huge and had a fridge with beers, water and soft drinks that was replenished free every 2 days.

Great experience for couples and families. Not suitable for person with disabilities.

Food for German people, too many people. You don't feel you are in Greece. The view is beautiful. Staff not always of high quality.

First of all I must say that all the staff in all departments were excellent,very helpful and friendly,which was very good. Four of us went and had a nice time, the hotel is nice, good size with an outdoor pool (with sea salt) and an indoor one. The hotel was clean all the time and our rooms were cleaned every day. The beach is close by via a lift or a walking distance. You can get pizza by the pool and drinks all the time,and food on the beach like burgers til 1.30pm The pool area is nice but when busy you might have to 'reserve' your bed which is annoying and the beach can get busy as well.. The food in the hotel is OK not great but just about passable,I didn't like seeing flys on the food at times and maybe some covers need to be introduced for that.. You can book other restaurants on the complex in advance to eat at. The queues after for drinks can get long when busy. Personally I feel the hotel is a 4* and not 5 like some have stated.

Excellent hotel, spacious rooms, staff in the hotel and restaurant very helpful and pleasant at all times. Loved the little pools dotted around. One thing you do have to pay extra if you want to use the bar facilities at the other hotels on the complex.

We had a pleasant stay at the Mitsis Summer Palace. The place is very clean and the bedrooms are done on a daily basis. The service in the restaurants was great. Do book the greek restaurant which is a la carte. Thoroughly enjoyed the octopus and sea food. Food in main buffet area was good but not amazing. Wifi was free for 2 hours in the main reception area but extremely slow. Entertainment team were hard working and lovely. Lots of pools areas and bars and plenty of sun lounges. Please note that there are a lot of stairs and hills to contend with. If you have mobility issues, beware. Shower room and dressing room was a bit of a let down on the day of departure, again not up to a 4 or 5star standard. Would go again if price is right.

Fantastic great people friendly staff and good variety on buffet

Nice hotel, food good, staff pleasant. Quiet location although attracts family's and kids. Not too noisy though. Would return.

Disappointed with the quality of the food. Mostly cold and not heated properly. Pork chicken and burgers all week. Meat appeared to be scraps, and bones. Eggs cold must be a health problem. No variation in the menu. Had to ask for cutlery always missing from the tables. Not enough salt and pepper pots to go round. Entertainment was lacking in the bars upstairs. Wine very below standard. Coffee always cold. Lack of spirits and tonic behind the bar. Cocktails offered were not on offer as the spirits etc were not available to make them.
