Royal Inn

The staff was very nice but the room was not clean, the beds were stained, the carpet had not been vacuumed, the shower curtain was dirty, the pillows were old and used up, and the room had a terrible odor all weekend. This is more of a weekly than a motel.

Lake Havasu was packed the weekend we stayed. It was the only motel with rooms available and we wouldn't have stayed there if we'd had a choice. No wash clothes, no hot water in the morning, smelled of cigarette smoke and we don't smoke, sheets were an odd texture but beds were ok. It was very quiet which was great. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The price of the room was higher than normal, also because of the weekend.

The carpet was dirty. Room smells of smoke. Drains drain slow. It was expensive for the stay. Looks like updates of paint. But much more needed to be done.

I saw 2 roaches, 1 on my toothbrush! I will never stay here again

Donna at the front desk is great. Inexpensive and close to grocery store and restaurants. Used to have a street urchin problem, no mas. Use it regularly when doing house maintenance. Stairs only for 2nd floor, Tell them in advance if you are elderly. *Someone always keeps the office open.* .

My room was dirty. Looked like blood stains in the shower and on shower curtain. Towels were dirty. Bed sheets weren't half clean but nasty and with some small holes. I asked for a non-smoking room. Pretty sure they gave me a smoking room because the smell of cigarette smoke consumed me and my stuff. Last but not least, I probably killed about 12 roaches IN MY ROOM during my 3 night stay... No one came to "clean my room" the entire time I was there. I wouldn't recommend it to ANYONE!

Staff was nice. As a wesry, tired, overheated motorcyclist, who needed nothing but a cold drink and a shower, all I got was a shower. No ice. Ice macine broken and nothingcavailable instead. Didnt even need to turn on hot water in shower. No cold water when turning on tub or faucet at sink. Bathroom had only 2 towels, one for floor and one to dry with. Dead cricket in bathroom. Bed was comfy though. Remote for TV didnt work, lights about sink didnt work. No clock in room. AC was bladting col cold sir which was great until I couldnt adjust it for sleep, it got kind of chilly. Other than thosd things ig was what I needdd, a bed, and a shower for $40.00 what do you expect, the Ritz?

Disgusting, room with roaches. The bed had stains on it and there were big cracks in the door that allow bugs in. The pool area was burned so there is no pool. Didn't want to even walk on the carpet without shoes. This place shouldn't even be open it's so disgusting. I had my 12 year old with me so it was even more upsetting to have such an unsanitary place to sleep. Didn't realize it was so horrible until it was too late. We were at the river all day otherwise I would have never stayed. Wish i had pictures to show what its really like.

I stayed here before and it had cockroaches then. I called ahead of time and they said their bug problem was taken care of. Not True! My wife and I had no choice but to stay in the reach infested Royal Inn. As she slept in the bed, I had to stay awake and keep all the sheets, blankets, shoes, slippers, luggage, everything we brought in, elevated and keep watch fir the bugs. I seriously killed at least 50 of all different sizes. It was disgusting and my wife was clearly upset and worst of all, disappointed in me for putting her in that horrible environment. As much as money is tight all around for everyone, I will "NEVER" stay at The Royal ever again. The only improvement for The Royal would be if it closed permanently. I do realize I had to stay in the room, but, me receiving my money back for this disgusting sleepless experience would be amazing... Thank you and it would be in Hotel.com's best interest to remove this property as an option from your list for the money paying public. It truly is that bad...
