Property could use some updating

I liked having a microwave and fridge in the room

I purchased breakfast from The Lakes and was disappointed. I ordered my eggs over medium and they were hard and burnt. Potatoes were good, bacon was okay, but the pancakes were tasteless. Service was poor. Towels were very small and there was only 2 in my room. Water in the shower took like 15-20minutes to warm up.

Great place to stay

Everything was fine until the morning of check out. Checkout is 11 am and “housekeeping” tried to come bursting into the room without knocking as I was standing there half undressed. I hollered at them saying we were still in the room and not more than 10 minutes later someone tried doing it again. Small town but really? I’ve been a housekeeper at a motel before and you always knocked and assumed someone was in there! The small cafe was good and had pretty darned good food and the bar area was nice as well. Many locals hang out at the bar but that’s what made it fun/interesting.

Dirty place, room was not clean. couch had cat scratches and smelled of cat urine.

Went there front desk was locked nobody was there to check in went to then another hotel. I’m glad I didn’t paid before checking in.

fun bar. Really good breakfast restaurant. Best place to stay in the area
