Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hiroshima

It is within walking distance to The Peace Park and Hiroshima Castle.

The hotel staff were very helpful and English friendly. The hotel breakfast was a highlight, offering a more authentic breakfast experience. Rooms were large and the bed was very comfortable, offering more cushion than others. Walkable to the Hondori, where most restaurants and stores are located, and it's a 30 minute ride on the tram to Hiroshima station. Hotel interior is dated and smells like cigarettes in public areas, but it always felt clean. Be sure to try some okonomiyaki when you're in Hiroshima!

Room great size, location a walk from the Peace Park, good links onto the streetcar system

The room was the typical small size you find in Japan. Bed was a little hard for me but doable with the futon blanket. Convenient laundry center downstairs. Attached restaurant had good food at a good price. I would stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The staff speak good english and also have handy leaflets in English, yet, if you decide to try and speak in Japanese, they are really patient and let you have a go (great for language learners). They greeted you every time you came in and made you feel truly welcome. There are vending machines on two floors (the peach juice is really nice) as well as ice and recycling facilities. Your bedroom has a handy fridge that can take a fair amount of stuff in and a combini next door to the hotel where you can buy food (i recommend the pancake-like cake filled with fresh cream) as well as magazines, gifts etc. There is a starbucks nearby and a sushiro not too far (look it up for 100yen sushi). Dead easy walk to the centre which passes bookoff for all your manga buying needs. We were super pleased with this hotel, great location, clean room (small but typical for Japan) and lovely staff.

The hotel is best located at the heart of the city.Walkable distant to the famous Peace Park and shopping area. A lot of small restaurants around the hotel.Both electric train and bus stop close to the hotel.Hotel staff are very helpful and polite. The building is well maintained and the room is clean.Overall it is a reasonable good hotel to stay.

The hotel is conveniently located and walkable to the peace memorial museum and park. Upon arrival and during our 2-night stay, the staff greeted us with smiles, and our room was clean and sufficient. We also enjoyed the breakfast set meals at the restaurant attached to the hotel.

Location is ideal, staff are friendly, rooms are cosy and clean.

An overall, staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel room is spacious and comfortable except quite a distance from train/bus stations.
