Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hiroshima

Large and clean room. Very near to attractions.

Hotel is located a few minutes walk from the tram stop and within walking distance to most main sites. All staff were excellent and very efficient. Rooms were basic and a little run down but we weren’t in there much so was fine for us. Breakfast was in the little restaurant which was also open to the public but it was absolutely fine. In fact we had an evening meal in there and loved it, again the staff in here were excellent. Overall, ok hotel but the staff are excellent, efficient and friendly.

Very small room. The staff are great ! Asked them to make a dinner reservation for us (I don’t speak any Japanese) and we were heading out to see the sites in the morning before (reservations started at noon) we could call and we came back we had the reservation.

4 guests, only two pillows. Had to ask for additional pillows which we received. Then on our second night stay we had to ask again as they were taken during cleaning our room. Only downside....

Location, near the castle and Peace Park

Nice hotel in a good area. Very close to the Peace Memorial Park. But the room was feel little bit old and need to get a little update.

This hotel is right in the middle of Hiroshima. Perfect to walks to Peace Park and other shopping areas. The staff are extremely friendly and though they may not speak English properly they are more than willing to try and assist. This hotel is definitely a gem.

Mattress no good otherwise all pretty good

Great service and hotel in close proximity of everything ... you get a free face mask upon check-in which is a nice touch! Thank you! Hotel is a bit dated , but most are in this area .

This hotel was good value and in an excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the Peace Park and a road car (tram) stop. Ferry’s to Itsukashima Shrine are also a 15mins walk or short tram ride away. The room was comfortable and a good size for 2 people. The bed was nice, but as with all the hotels we visited, the pillows were not great. There was a full sized bath and shower, with good water temperature/pressure. Staff on the reception were helpful, providing us with a map and advice on which tram to catch. Breakfast did let it down slightly, with limited set meals and small bowls to have items (salads mainly) off the buffet. We found the portions quite small and not very satisfying. The breakfast room is small, especially given the number of bed rooms, so we did have to wait 10mins one morning before being able to go in for breakfast. Overall though I would recommend this hotel if you are visiting Hiroshima.
