Daiwa Roynet Hotel Hiroshima

This is a “typical” business hotel, but was the amongst the worst we stayed at in our two months in Japan. First, the location is great and the housekeeping staff are great. Our rooms were always spotless. However, the front desk staff are a model of inefficiency. I arrived before check-in time and asked to leave our luggage if we couldn’t check-in. They proceeded to take & copy our passports and fill out all the paperwork, but couldn’t check us in yet. No worries, but when we returned at 4pm, we had to do it all over again, then proceed to the “check in kiosk” to actually check in. What?!? The amenity bar was poorly stocked and breakfast was awful. I can’t understand the good reviews, I won’t stay here and will recommend that folks run away!

very small rooms compact and upon arrival you took the extra amenities at the front desk . the breakfast was not the best as they offered on three choices and you had to decide which one there and then . No one really had the breakfast. Centrally located on a main street and walking distance to shops and restaurants and a mall. Not one of the best hotels to recommend

A budget hotel in a reasonable location, 2½ Km from central train station & an easy walk to Peace Park. Very clean, small room with airconditioing & a fridge. Towels were a little thin & only 1 pillow each. Shower in bath. Plenty of tea & coffee available. Nice café over the road for dinner. Reception staff very helpful.

Superb position and easy to get to anything. Bonus to find a boat left in front of the Peace Dome and took you to MIYAJIMA Island and back but one needs at least a two hour turn around ticket. As we are independent travellers 80 yr) the position to all attractions was important although we had a car which we were able to park in the hotel parking station for 1300yn (OZ$13) per day was excellent value. Our room was small, but you get what you pay for I guess and after a day’s walking all we wanted to do was crash out after a glass of Merlot. Moving place Hiroshima is but I do hope they instruct the kids "WHY" the bomb was dropped. Love the Japanese for their cleanliness and respect for one and all something that many Western Cities fail to do. Just my bit. HOTEL is worth staying at for all the above reasons.

The neighborhood was great and it was 15 minutes away from the peace memorial park. However, the room wasn't perfectly clean and there were stains on the walls. The Japanese breakfast wasn't good at all and we decided to skip it on the second day. The price for the room is good, but you will not get a good service.

Within walking distance to tourist attractions and lots of food options. Amazingly helpful staff, would recommend!

Stayed two days with our Belgian group No room remake and cleaning has been done Breakfast was worthless in quality and quantity in a to narrow available space Unfriendly personnel I should never recommend to go there again This branch does not meet group ambition

Lovely modern hotel and only a 5 minute walk to the train station Room was spotlessly clean. Very close to local amenities. Breakfast was good. While you are in Hiroshima, you must visit the The Peace Memorial. It's a lovely walk around the park and the museum is very moving

Not enough pillows. small room so no night table to put things.
