Mitsis Ramira

What a lovely time we just had at Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel. The hotel is well maintained and kept clean at all times. The staff were so wonderful, always a smile on their faces and so open and friendly to our kids, we were sad to leave them. The animation team was great!! The kids loved the kids club and the mini disco! Best DJ in Kos town! Yeah!! Initially we had a mix up of rooms but they made sure we forgot about it very quickly! Thank you so much for your kindness. We had a fab time. We will return to Kos one day but when it’s a little bit warmer so we can fully enjoy the pool etc.. the water was a little cold in October now! However, the weather was still nice and so much better than England. Thanks again! I will recommend to friends!

Greeted with a cold fresh lemonade at check in It only gets better every member of staff here are a credit to this hotel they are so helpful The food is very good and lots of choice The hotel was full but it didn't feel crowded there is always sunbeds available around the pool and on the beach Lots to keep you entertained all day long The rooms are very big and cleaned daily to very high standards Bathrobes slippers and good toiletries With a well stocked mini fridge beers wine soft drinks You couldn't ask for more amazing stay thank you

Lovely hotel with great staff. We had a room with a sea view, which was amazing looking over the water to Turkey in the distance. The beach was very close with sunbeds and umbrellas for guests to use. There was a beach bar for guests as well. Very pleased it was all inclusive so did not have to worry about anything. The week we were there, there was a heavy German occupancy and then the Russians came in. Personal experience with them was not good and some were so rude to the staff who all work extremely hard to give you a good time. Nothing is too much for them to help with. I accidently left my handbag in a bar and it was handed in, intact, so was extremely grateful to the staff and reception. The water in the hotel is drinkable.

We did love the experience. Staff, in particular Maria (little lady, bar waitress), were very helpful and friendly. The food was really good and there was plenty of choice. Pool a bit smallish but we would rather enjoyed the beach. I would come back again, without any doubt!!!!!! Also, you can access the city easily by bus or taxi. I would recommend taking a day boat trip to another islands. Our experience at the "Princess Diana" boat was fascinating and ended with a dance to the Macarena.

We arrived at about 1.30am due to delays - tired and starving! We were greeted by such friendly staff even that time of the morning - offered fresh lemonade on arrival and were told that food was not a problem as the restaurant was open until 6am! Amazing! - we went in, sat down and had a lovely meal with waiter service! The staff at the hotel were exceptional, especially the animation team - I have to recognise Heidi and Nelly - Heidi because she got my 10 year old son involved in all the activities, he made so many friends and I hardly saw him the whole holiday! and Nelly just because she was absolutely hilarious - and great at organising all the sporting events. If you wanted to you could be entertained the whole day. The waiters were very efficient - great to get drinks bought to you when you're sun bathing around the pool! If I had to pick anything out as a criticism it would be the fact that the 2 main pools were salt water and that did get a bit annoying as it really stung your eyes - my boys got a bit fed up with that. Overall great stay though.

Stay was really excellent. Staff friendliness amongst the best we have ever experience din an all-Inclusive hotel. Hotel also had lots of little nice areas where they were generous for all inclusive - such as an abundance of ice cream and allowing use of facilities on day of departure even though very late (we also arrived very early but this was also no issue - our rooms were available at 8:00) Complex was excellent, only lacing a fitness room from our viewpoint. The rooms we had were very good with nice views of the sea. There are a few rooms with limited views but most rooms have a great sea or pool view. Food was very good whether in the hotel or the beach bar. They also have an Italian and Chinese Restaurant - we tried both. These were good for the main courses - they had some silly avoidable issues on starters where they were pre-prepared and not as good as they could be. But I am being picky now because overall the food was really excellent. The animation was very good, our teenage boys played darts, football, beach volleyball and basketball. The team were very friendly and didn't hassle us parents to join in!!. So overall top marks for the Ramira Beach.

Pros: Location is great. Hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. When we checked in we got a room on third floor in a building without elevator and we asked to change since we had an old lady in our party and the hotel gave us better located rooms. Animation team is good. Cons: Hotel is old although renovated. In our last day there was 3 hours electricity outage (!!). There is no gym at all which was very disappointing. The food is ok but after several days and not much diversity in it , it starting to be very boring. There are two restaurants if you are lucky to get reservations for it : Chinese and Italian. Avoid the Chinese- it is terrible. The Italian is good though . Rest of meals are OK but again, every meal looks the same as it was before and food quality is not at its best. At check in you get a key for the room which is an old fashioned- why not moing to cards? Safe in the rooms costs money although in an all inclusive plan you would expect to get this smal thing for free. There is free wifi, but.. every 3 hours (!!) you would need to re-register and although it takes 2 min this sucks. Also it's pretty slow and some areas are not well covered.

This hotel is a joke, has nothing to do with 5 stars hotels. We payed all inclusive 14 days stay in family room with a private pool. The room is one room with a door separating bed with 2 materasses (supose to be double bed) from other two beds. There was no window is ours part of the room, so you can not close a door if you want to breath. If you want to go in a private pool you need to pass thrue a kids part of the room with a table in the middle. The room is old and ugly. Our shower was broken, our remote control didn't work for two days, our frige didn't work for 7 days (we ask first day if they can fix it). When we ask for bottle of water they try to explain us that we get 2 bottels of water every two days (for 4 of us in all inclusive resort) and that if we want more we need to buy it in the store. In bars you can not get botteled water, they gave you water from a pipe that is yellow and smel very bad. There is no any kind of juice, just something that they called limonade, but has nothing to do with it. You can not ordered a coctail such as margerita, you can get only one kind of a coctail (I don't know what there put inside it, but is mostliy sugar). The worst thing are a lines, you need to wait in the line for everything, every meel at least 10-15 minutes (we couldn't understand why, because there was always plenty of empty tables), one hour at least for the hamburger on the beach and there is no sun beds no where (beach or pool) if you wake up after 7 o'clock.
