Grand Hotel Savoia Cortina d'Ampezzo, A Radisson Collection Hotel

We loved almost everything about this hotel. Good location, pleasant aesthetic, spacious rooms, superb breakfast and lovely spa (please make the hot tub hot). Very helpful concierge. But we could not sleep - there is no AC at all. They provide fans instead. We had to open the windows at night, but it is so noisy! The bar below is open late with live music. Church bells ring at 7am every day, and the traffic outside is heavy starting at 5am. Even with an open window and balcony door, the room was stuffy and this was in September. I can only imagine how uncomfortable it might be in July or August. If you’re travelling during the cold season, don’t hesitate to stay there.

Beautiful hotel and perfect location in central Cortina, walkable to shopping, dining and gondolas. We were three people in a Junior Suite and it felt a bit cramped, but the hotel staff was super attentive and helpful. They provided a bottle of champagne and some delicious chocolates in the room with a kind note. We also had dinner onsite and though pricey it was a really nice meal. The spa area is also nice though it was very warm down there. The massage I got was just ok.

The Grand Savoia was originally built in the early 20th century and has been renovated and is now part of the Radisson hotel chain. Its location is great for both shopping and outdoor activities. Though it has all of the modern conveniences, I’m afraid that the old world charm has been erased. The bathroom is fine, though the shower is inside the tun and awkward to access. Toiletries are run-of-the-mill Radisson, rooms are small but have nice mountain views. Nice breakfast buffet, but it was a bit offensive to have to pay extra for prepared eggs - quite unusual from other 5-star Dolomite hotels. Lovely, but feels very corporate.

Everything about this property was amazing. The staff was amazing. The food and bar were amazing. I’m obsessed with the rooms. The spa was fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I would come back in a heartbeat. 10/10 recommend

We loved our stay here! The staff was so accommodating. The breakfast was so delicious and plentiful. We felt so spoiled in your beautiful hotel.
