Comfortable room and great food and bar just next door

A little bit expensive for what you get compared to other places in Norwich

Really lovely place at the back to sit, have a drink and a meal. Loads of places to sit, under the trees and a lovely atmosphere

Room 5 was so hot, am sure all the rooms in that part of the hotel would be the same. Really nicely decorated and lovely antiques but the heat in the room was unbearable. There was a fan in the room but all that did was move the warm air around. I do accept it's an old building but you really do need portable air conditioning units in these rooms!

The tea and coffee facilities, iron was a nice touch and the bottle of water. Good location to walk to the city centre.

The room was a bit tired and in need of decorating. Pillows not good quality, I asked the cleaner to get me a better one and she did.

the food in the bar the on the evening was very average not great advert used to be so much better not great value very poor check in could not find a key for 20 mins and no printer for my invoice on the way out
