Quiet location , nice comfy room . Easy to walk down your water front. Friendly staff. Excellent meal at the restaurant .

3 star hotel with 2 star rooms and service. Wifi was patchy at best. TV not working until dongle installed. Room booked for three but only two of everything (Cups, glasses, towels etc). Hot water was extreme and with the shower mixer not allowing cold water to be mixed made showering impossible. Next day plumber called but could not fix. We were out for the day, no phone call to say shower could not be fixed and moving rooms. Just waited for our return in the evening. New room worse wifi issues and same TV issue, dongle again installed, should have been installed while we were out.Toilet took 10 minutes to refill. Pool was only half full and requires a number of tile repairs.Two spa pools, one out of order filled with stones other was on, lifted lid water was grey and stunk. Upon checking out asked for a discount but told as booked through booking.com could not get any money back. Did offer discount for next stay which isn't going to happen.

Room was nice and comfy.

Remote did not work. TV should be mounted in the middle as it was a struggle to see from the far side of the room. Shower water was way too hot had to either turned down or the settings on the dial is not working properly. Pool was confusing not really suitable for families with small kids and there should be a time limit to the hot tub as some people don't have any consideration for others.

The breakfast and dinner were excellent. The room was a good size. The staff were very pleasant. The gym is small but provides equipment for a quick exercise.

The swimming pool seems to be merely a publicity token as the water is unheated. I would have taken a dip if it were warmer. The location is convenient for access to the town centre and supermarket.

Really nice staff, very happy with the room - clean, comfortable, parking right outside. Previous good reviews of the restaurant made it really appealing and we weren't disappointed. A wee way from town so best to have a car.
