Te Anau Manapouri Lake Hotel

Location was the only good thing. It falsely advertised a cafe bar and restaurant which has been closed for years and in disrepair. No wifi on premises also. Unfriendly staff. Old and rundown inside and out. Couch broken so had only two dining chairs to sit on. Filthy dishsponge so didn’t use any of dishes but only a couple of utensils supplied anyway. Two tvs didn’t work. No ventilation in bathroom so towels toilet paper were damp along with windows and unit the whole time. shower didn’t drain. Toilet didn’t flush until we played around with the top off. Was all discoloured around plastic. bathroom floor lifting. We paid $1134 for three nights ($378 a night) and stayed there on our 30th wedding anniversary. We were so gutted. It is so much false advertising and also the photos on the website are so untrue.

The property looked almost abandoned from the outside.

Great location overlooking the lake. Room was clean.

TV reception was bad, however the lake views make up for it :-)

Stains in bath, carpet dirty

Room wasn't what we booked, it was dark when we arrived lightning was poor, room outdated, hasn't been vaccum for a while dirt and dust behind bed and side table, bathroom need updating, no hot water. Beautiful spot with an amazing veiw the facuilty needs TLC someone who cares about it and the customers that book in

Easy check in

It was not value for money shower was weak as people parked where they wanted so arriving lat all parks were gone but some people needed 2 parks cos couldnt drive and it was not up to standed beds rock hard ac didnt work and just a shit hole0
