Petani Bay Hotel - Adults Only

The view of Petani Bay is incredible and the pool area is great. The rooms are clean and large bed was really comfortable.

We were disappointed with the hotel for a few reasons. The breakfast is poor. Despite it being a boutique hotel where turnover of the food is low, most of the warm food is kept in a heated dish (not made fresh), and tasteless (we even found the yoghurt lacked taste compared to what we had elsewhere). The food we ordered to the pool was also very disappointing (the fries were borderline inedible). This is made worse by the fact the hotel is very remote (there isn't even a bakery or mini supermarket within walking distance - it takes 45+ mins to drive most places on the island). You definitely need a car. The shower didn't have a screen and flooded the bathroom every time we used it. Basic amenities weren't provided (e.g. conditioner - all that's provided is a combined body wash/shampoo), and the hair dryer was so old it often didn't work. This isn't acceptable for a 4 star hotel. While some of the staff were lovely, the manner of the owner often felt direct to the point of rudeness. This was a sharp contrast to the warm hospitality we've experienced in many other Greek hotels over the years. We don't mean to sound overly negative, but the owners could make this experience so much better.

Abbiamo trascorso una bellissima vacanza e vogliamo ringraziare tutto lo staff per l’estrema gentilezza e disponibilità. Un grazie speciale va alla proprietaria, che si è subito attivata con professionalità e discrezione per risolvere un piccolo inconveniente legato a vicini rumorosi. Un plauso anche alla ragazza della colazione: solare, attenta e sempre con il sorriso. Lo stesso vale per i ragazzi del bar, sempre pronti a scambiare due chiacchiere e a offrire consigli utili – persone davvero piacevoli, che contribuiscono a creare un’atmosfera accogliente e familiare. Il fattore umano, in questo hotel, fa davvero la differenza. La colazione è ricca e di qualità, con una vasta scelta tra dolce e salato. Ottimi i prodotti freschi, il succo d’arancia appena spremuto e la macchina per caffè/cappuccini/latte macchiato, che offre bevande calde davvero buone. Menzione speciale anche per il succo alla pesca, delizioso. La piscina a sfioro è splendida, con una vista mozzafiato che lascia senza parole. La pulizia delle camere è stata sempre impeccabile, ogni giorno. Grazie ancora a tutti per l’accoglienza e l’attenzione: avete reso la nostra vacanza ancora più speciale!

Purtroppo come accennato sopra abbiamo avuto degli inconvenienti con dei vicini molto rumorosi e poco rispettosi durante la notte (fortunatamente hanno soggiornato solo per 2 notti). L'isolamento della camera non è perfetto, ma con i vicini successivi non c'è stato alcun problema.

The location is exceptional a car though is mandatory due to long distance to any close beach restaurant etc.

The view and the staff are amazing

The hotel's atmosphere is full of attention to detail and friendliness. All the staff, the owners and their family, simply everyone, thanks to their warmth and excellent service, make this hotel a place where you feel at home and enjoy life, all in a stunningly beautiful spot. Fortunately, the bay is sparsely developed, and nature takes precedence. We felt like we were visiting loving friends. It was quiet, clean, and lived up to all the stars, from breakfast to the evening cocktail at the bar. We slept so well in this oasis of peace. We would come back anytime. Thank you to this welcoming family who knows how to best entertain and look after their guests. Thank you.

Very relaxing and quiet environment. The staff were amazing. The view says it all and the photos are accurate. We enjoyed the on site food too

Beautiful property, large wonderful rooms, bedding so very comfortable. Oh to watch the sunsets from this view. Great staff. Tavernas down by the beach very good. Water perfect. Thank you to the wonderful staff. Highly recommend.

Wish there were more food options, they did a great job with breakfast. Loved their dogs that came to say hello.
