Short overnight visit for a family event

The staff were so welcoming. Changed my bedroom from two singles to a double immediately on asking. Explained the surroundings, and that the crater was literally two minutes' walk up the road. All the staff were great, and did everything with professionalism and a big smile and couldn't have been any more helpful. More than happy to recommend!

Clean, comfortable, friendly -- a good suite for a couple. We would definitely stay here again! Only one negative: it was a challenge to get the luggage to the room, because of the layout of the hotel.

Hotel is well placed for viewing crater. Very large size but rather dingy. Bathroom tiny and shower leaks on floor. Good breakfast.

While the location is close to the crater (no view though) and breakfast is fair, the hotel lacks elevators and the bathrooms are an afterthought, awkward, and unpleasant.

Great for a night or two to visit the crater and surroundings.

This hotel was clean and the rooms were very nice sized. Can sleep many. Some of the rooms had such nice dining rooms and kitchenettes. Problem is that you have to carry your luggage up the stairs.

Too expensive for what it is

The hotel is perfectly located, a short walk from the crater. The staff are very friendly and helpful; both at the reception and at breakfast, Breakfast was delivered to my table by the chef each morning; the omelettes were excellent, but, there wasn't a great choice otherwise, for breakfast. The room was very good, a nice sitting area; a kitchen and a large, comfortable bed. The hotel was both close to the crater and to local buses, if you want to travel anywhere locally. Overall, a very good stay.

Very welcoming hotel, and very comfortable for families - our room was actually like an apartment with two bedrooms, nice large balcony and fully equipped kitchen. Located very close to the crater and the Visitors Center.
