Excellent accommodation, highly recommended, and free upgrade!

Nice hotel and lovely staff. Not much in the local area but that is not the hotels fault. I was upgraded as the hotel wasn't full which was a nice touch. Great breakfast too!

I did think that this was a studio type apartment that I could cook for my self , Which it was not ! Bed was old snd noisey With a very old bed spread that was thicker then the thin soft mattress , curtains did not close fully one tissue in the tissue box that when I pushed it into the box , when they cleaned my room they put it back on the top of the empty box like they do so the empty box looks pretty . No evening meals served like they advertised, and this was a free upgrade! Pleased I did not get my original room if this was anything to go by

If you ever judge a place by the breakfast served, this has to be (for the price) one of the most filling, full of choice, and tasty morning meals I've enjoyed. There was fresh fruit, yoghurts, cheese, salami, cereals, whole fruit, marmalade, honey, marmite, muffins on top of which was a really tasty and well cooked 'Full English', for £5 extra over a continental, its a winner. What was impressive was that I'm sure it was the owner saying hello to guests last thing in the evening, only to find him behind the stove (and coming to check on us) the next morning. What a top guy, very jolly and seemed to be loving what he was doing, it shows. I'd happily pay more if just for the breakfast. Other than the owner the service elsewhere was very friendly but lacked consistency but for a little over £80 I'd be happy with a clean room, an all I could eat breakfast (again that breakfast) and the quiet location in which it is situated, any day of the week. On the basis of my stay the place deserves to be better appreciated and the owner (if that's who it was) deserves to be rewarded for his efforts.

I arrived quite late (9.45pm) and called in advance to let them know . On arrival I simply rang the doorbell and my key and room details were left at reception. The room itself was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom . Overall what I liked was that it is located in a quiet residential area and easy to find with plenty of parking

WOW. What a lovely hotel! I travel the entire UK on business & this is one of the best I've ever stayed in. Beautiful rooms, soft beds & the entire hotel...you can tell that the owners want to give you the best experience. Breakfast room in so nice and I was served by a beautiful lady.
