Balcony Hotel - Adults Only

Everything was great until the checkout. Some advice to travellers to have cash on hand. There credit card terminal is not reliable.

Geweldige locatie met een geweldig uitzicht. Het is elke dag weer opnieuw genieten. Wij hadden een kamer met een balkon met gedeeltelijk zeezicht. Dit was perfect, vanaf ons balkon kon je heel zakynthos overzien (tot de volgende berg in de verte), het strans van tsilivi en een gedeelte van de zee. Vooral met zonsondergang is dit prachtig om te zien. De kamer was tip top in orde, niet heel groot maar dit maakte voor ons niet uit gezien wij er bijna alleen sliepen en af en toe een drankje op het balkon nuttigden. Genoeg opberg plek voor kleding, mini koelkast, waterkokertje, elke dag kregen we een nieuwe fles water, glazen en koffie en thee zakjes. De badkamer was heel schoon, haardroger aanwezig, prima douche met een lekkere straal en het toilet was ook prima. Er stonden voor ons wat zeepjes, shampoos, tandenborstels etc klaar. De airco in de kamer was heerlijk. De kamer beschikte echter wel over een systeem dat als de balkon deuren open of op een kier stonden de airco automatisch uitging en het toegangspasje (ipv sleutel) moest in een houdertje naast de deur anders had de kamer geen stroom (dus ook geen airco). Opzich geen probleem maar de kamer is dus wel wat warm bij binnenkomst. Het ontbijt was lekker, alles er op en er aan maar we waren er na 5 keer wel wat op uitgekeken. Het restaurant bij het hotel is denk ik het beste restaurant war we in Zakynthos hebben gegeten, zeker de moussaka is een aanrader. Het personeel is geweldig, super aardig en doet alles voor je.

Nice view . But no swimming pool . Book sea view room but just get a room had side sea view . A bit dissatisfied.

What a view! Great breakfast buffet. Staff could not be more helpful, thank you all. Location was close enough to town and anything you want to do. (Hint - rent a car). They placed us in a newly renovated room. It was beautiful. I just want to give some helpful tips on improving the room. There are NO towel racks, placing the clean towels on the bed is a nice touch, but very inconvenient. There was never a second roll of toilet paper in the room and no place to hang one. All rooms need that. Finally, we could use a box of facial tissues in the room as well. If that is all I have to complain about, you know we had a great time. Thanks Dave & Liz

Our stay at Balcony Hotel was wonderful. From the greeting we received, to personally showing us around the hotel and to our room, the staff was amazing. The room was spotless and the views were stunning. Breakfast is one of the best I've ever had. Our dinner at the restaurant upon our arrival was fantastic. The beach and the town of Tsilivi are an easy walk from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!

Attentive service (with some fake smiles!!!) but the main problem is breakfast! Pastries, Eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms are not HOT!The service starts at 8am and even this time is almost cold. If you come at 9am IT IS COLD!We guests are NOT ALLOWED to sit on the terrace where is sunny in the morning...Plus they have Weddings almost everyday and lots of children...So its not adults only. The bathroom every morning smells gutter when you first use it...

We had the most gorgeous view from our seaview room - I would highly recommend paying the little extra for the view. We ended up spending so much time on the balcony, enjoying the view and the sunset. The hotel is about 20 minute walk from the town centre and 10 minutes from the beach, but we were so happy we stayed here as the town is pretty loud, tacky and touristic so it was nice to have this quieter, more elegant place. Breakfast was great - relatively small option but all handmade, nice Greek dishes instead of big tasteless buffets as some other hotels have. So much taste and you eat in the garden with the gorgeous views. Room itself was a bit basic and clinical but practical, modern and clean - and you spend time on the balcony anyway. Service was amazing and the staff always were so helpful and cheerful. If you go to Tsilivi and want quieter, more elegant holiday than the tacky town centre then definitely stay in this hotel - we really loved it.

We had a lovely stay at the balcony, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a great view from our balcony room 201. Love walking down to the beach through the sea! The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and aircon was good to have too! I did wonder if the hotel would beages from any restaurants/shops but it’s just a 15min walk down the hill so it’s in a great location. We ate dinner one of the nights of our stay and this was also excellent and tasty-especially the chocolate soufflé. Thankyou to everyone at the balcony!
