Attentive staff, clean with nice touches of luxury and good food

The room was very clean, comfortable and warm. We were staying overnight during a short trip and needed somewhere warm and comfortable and this fit the bill. The amenities were apt - kettle, TV and toiletries all as expected. The staff were super friendly and helpful both during checkin and in the restaurant/bar.

The only slight (and minor) caveat is that the room we stayed in had a number of stairs in order to get to and this might present a challenge to some less mobile. Also, the location in a busy street meant that the car park was a minor (and manageable) distance from the hotel.

Pretty characterful room, charming decor, nice bathroom (a bit wierd with the wardrobe in the bathroom) nice complimentary products.

The duvet wasn't wide enough, barely covered the bed with no one in it. No pillow protectors. Food smells from the kitchen underneath the room. Very early morning, really loud chefs with loud metal music, was very irritating.

Very nice location and rooms

Parking might be a little bit difficult due to location, we had a short water shortage, don’t know if that’s happening often, but didn’t affect lovely stay.
