This was our first time staying in Switzerland and it was very enjoyable the staff/family were very accommodating and could not do enough for us. The room was very comfortable, clean and the breakfast was more than enough and evening meals were enjoyable. We also enjoyed some walking in the area for the 2 days we stayed. Inside the hotel was lovely however one small thing we did notice was the outside of the building looked a little tired and would have been nice to see some flowers in the window flower boxes like other building in the area.

This is a very nice hotel if you like nature, hiking and other outdoor activities. Very nice and welcoming owner.

We really enjoyed our stay, and our room provided a beautiful view of sunrise over the Alps. We arrived very late due to an unexpected road closure, but our host cheerfully lit a fire in the lounge and prepared a late night dinner for us.

We stayed at the hotel with our two children in the end of December. The owners gave us a room with a balcony, even though we had ordered a smaller room. Very helpful and friendly staff (actually a nice Dutch couple who owns the Hotel). Only tricky thing was that there was a lot of snow during our stay, and we could not get our (tirewise underequiped) car up through the small village roads. The small village of Gluringen is charming, and the view from the hotel over the valley is great. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.

The hotel was clean and inviting and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We received a guest voucher which entitled us to a discount at local places, such as a cable-car trip up the mountain. This hotel was booked purely as a base from which to discover a little bit of the alps, and it served the purpose perfectly. If we return to this area, we would happily stay here again.
