Rossi Boutique Hotel & SPA

The hotel is great, and the staff are super friendly and efficiency. The wifi is good, and the restaurant is great for food at a reasonable price. My only quibble is the glass walls of the bathroom in the room - you'd better be on very intimate terms with anybody you share the room with!

We had booked bed and breakfast but was advised breakfast was extra and I emailed Expedia to query this and did not get a reply. Asked for shower cap and extra toiletries but was never delivered. Staff polite and helpful, no kettle in room but free coffee 5pm daily. You can only use spa facilities 7.30am - 9.30am for free during these times.

The hotel has a great location, the staff is very friendly and helpful. But the rooms are quite small and with a extremely hard bed. Also they have this policy that the spa and pool can only be use from 7am to 9am very uncomfortable and disappointed for me.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay the Rossi. The luxe room was like living in a 19th century St. Pete palace - but with all mod cons. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. All sights were within a half hour walk. Breakfast treats included Russian pancakes and home made jam as well as all the normal. So much better than staying in a generic chain hotel. Just perfect!

What a nice hotel at a great location. Staff was great and very helpful. ATM in hotel was handy and included breakfast was very good. Price was very reasonable too. Excellent!!

Conveniently located, helpful and friendly personal, but the room is rather small and lacks battery to dry the swiming suite - unusual for a spa hotel! Also, spa is free to visit only in the early morning. After that one needs to pay for the access. The restaurant is highly recommended and opened until over midnight. Spicy crab cream soup is delicious!

Delightful renovation of a 150 year-old building, very attentive staff, delicious restaurant, quaint clean room with beamed ceiling, laptops available with free internet access, one U.S. phone number could be called for free during our stay, lovely spa. Not in a tourist area so quiet at night. I highly recommend this hotel.

Overall we had a great stay in the Hotel Rossi. It oozes style, the staff are very friendly and helpful and we loved our room with a view over the canal. A couple of trade-offs are its location (a walk of about 10 mins to the nearest metro) and we felt the breakfast was OK without being outstanding.

St Petersburg was incredible, well worth a visit. The buildings were like nothing else I have ever seen. My favorite was 'The Church of the Savior of the Spilled Blood. It really has to be seen to be believed. The shopping was good and the Faberge egg replica ornaments and pendants were beautiful. A trip to the Faberge museum is a must . We also went to the Hermitage Theatre to see Swan Lake. This was absolutely fantastic and well worth the money. We had booked this in advance online and this seemed the cheaper way to do this.

The staff at the Hotel Rossi were courteous and helpful, particularly an English speaking gentleman who seemed to work long hours at Reception. Our enquiries about restaurants, timetables and tourist services were answered willingly and in good detail. Thank you.
