Night clerk not friendly. Refused to have coffee at all hours. Lack of cleaning. Pool cold for kids. Hot tub broke. Trash around property. Room small for a suite. Do not recommend.

The one bedroom suite that we had was nice and roomy. We have no complaints about the room itself. Our issues are with the service. We were in town for a family reunion, and my siblings stayed in 4 other hotels. They all had the pools open, and their free breakfast was an actual HOT breakfast. We paid the most and we had the least amenities available to us. Our pool was closed, the buffet breakfast did not offer hot items - only cold cereal and stale muffins, and we had no housekeeping services. This means that trash was not picked up, fresh towels were not delivered, and sheets were not changed. We could call and ask for them, but the 2 times we called the desk to ask for towels no one answered. They knew we were checking in with a family of 3 for 4 nights, and were given 2 wash rags. TWO. Ridiculous. People were leaving overflowing bags of trash in the hallways since it wasn't being picked up from the room. All of the signs posted regarding limited services blamed COVID for the revised procedures, but when the other hotels in the same area are doing more for their guests, it makes TownePlace Suites just seem lazy. Do yourself a favor - pay LESS and stay elsewhere - you will have more available to you. My family, siblings and I experienced this first-hand this past weekend. There are multiple hotels next door, down the street, & across the expressway that DO have hot breakfast, pools open, and plenty of towels. At some point they need to quit blaming COVID for poor service.

We have stayed here a few times, whenever we are in town. This trip was the first time we were dissatisfied. The breakfast no longer has any protein options, like it used to. Gone are the sausage patties, eggs, and cheese. Now your only choices are sugary, high carb foods like cereal and bagels. Also very disappointing is that although the pool has been reopened for many months, the hot tubs is still closed due to Covid. There are zero covid restrictions otherwise, so I don't understand why the hot tubs can't be opened. If it's still closed the next time we come to town, we will find somewhere else to stay, where the amenities are back to pre covid.
