Fantastic hotel. Great views from around the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff and fantastic restaurants. Would definitely recommend.

From the moment we arrived, we knew this was the perfect destination for our mini-moon. We wanted a short break after our wedding to enjoy one another's company in a romantic setting whilst affording us the chance to recharge the batteries. This delivered in every way.

The resort is beautiful! We stayed in the prestige suite and it overlooked the pool and back of the main castel. Only complaints are room service charge was $25 for them to bring like 6 crossaints and coffee, and they had already switched their systems to heat. It was definitely hot in the room, but we were staying on the second floor so we were able to open windows. Other guests we spoke to weren't so lucky on the main floor because they could hear people walking past their window and it kept asking them. Both restaurants were great and would definitely return and try the spa!

Everything was flawless, from the rooms to the restaurants specially the gourmet one. The staff was incredibly attentive

We stayed at Castel Monastero for 5 nights and had an amazing time; the staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was so relaxing with probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on and the food was incredible. My only criticism is some of the drinks and spa treatments are a little pricey; I understand it's luxury accommodation but I believe they could reduce these a little. However I would definitely recommend if your looking for a relaxing luxury break.

V Relaxing ... great service

The hotel was wonderful! It's in a relatively quiet area in the Siena countryside. It can be a little difficult to find but the staff at Castel Monastero were kind enough to email us the directions the night before our arrival. The service was superb, the staff were incredibly attentive.

Wonderful location and magical hotel !! Truly outstanding views. We booked because it had a Gordon Ramsey restaurant ..BUT were advised only when we went in for dinner the "It was not a Gordon Ramsey week for the restaurant" This should have been advised before we arrived ..or at least at Check in when we made the dining reservation

This is a beautiful hotel, with lovely, helpful staff... there is just one thing. The walls are paper thin. We could hear our neighbours snore, sneeze, open and close doors etc. it was really strange for a five star hotel not to have this feature.
