Castel Monastero - The Leading Hotels of the World

I can’t say enough about this fantastic hotel, it’s wonderful staff, it’s impeccable service, and it’s unbelievable food. I would recommend this to anybody going to visit Tuscany !

Nice pools & good spa treatments . Particularly attentive and friendly service by waiters in restaurants.

Very nice facilities, room and breakfast. Service was decent if not exceptional. Reception staff were helpful with advice. Nothing really within walking distance but some nice restaurants a short drive away and a good location for day trips to Siena, Arezzo, Montalcino etc

This hotel was magical! The staff provided excellent, professional service. They went out of their way to make our stay special. The room and the hotel itself was architecturally magnificent. The food was superb.

Our stay was simply perfect - amazing estate with super friendly staff. The service was excellent as the manager made an effort to get to know us. We will definitely try to go back during truffle season soon!

I can't say enough about Castel Monastero. If I have to point out only one thing about the place, it's the SERVICE. From the minute we arrived, we experienced incredibly friendly and attentive service from everyone at the resort. The front desk was always aware of what we had going on; it's like they were a few steps ahead of us each time, in terms of what we needed. Both the property and room itself were beautiful. Very traditional and stately, and with all the luxuries you'd hope for in a high-end room. Castel offers turn-down service every evening, laying out bath slippers and bringing you bottles of water, which is a nice touch. The meals we ate at The Cantina were incredible, the included breakfast every morning was delicious and a great start to the day. It's a very relaxing experience all together. Although we visited at the end of the season (for New Years) and couldn't take advantage of the pool and lounge chairs, it was still lovely wandering the property and taking in the view. I hope to come back sometime in the warmer months to enjoy Castel all over again!

Not much to say here. EVERYTHING was perfect from A to Z.

Lovely locations near lots of beautiful towns and vineyards. The hotel staff were very helpful organising tours and telling us where was good to go. The Gordon Ramsey restaurant was very good. Disasppointed the spa was not included for hotel guests and the service at breakfast could have been better. Overall we would recommend it here.
