Super ophold. Meget serviceminded straf og lækker mad. Dog var der ringe/næsten ingen forbindelse til WiFi, hvilket gjorde det svært at arbejde. Maden var fantastisk og omgivelserne var skønne.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Castel Monastero! The whole staff was delightful - so thoughtful and attentive. We were there for 4 nights, ate breakfast at the hotel every morning, spent time by the gorgeous pool, had amazing massages, and overall just loved the experience! We booked a Prestige Room and it had an amazing view of the Tuscan countryside. The room, bathroom, and closet were a great size for the two of us - plenty of space! I would definitely come back here and sincerely want to thank the hotel staff for making our stay so special!

It is an absolutely beautiful hotel hidden away in Tuscany. We wish we had more time to spend there.

We stayed one night and had an amazing time! The Contrada restaurant was fantastic and the staff was very courteous. Beautiful rooms and the pools were amazing. I would absolutely recommend visiting.

Flot hotel og lækkert værelse som rummet alt man har brug for. Lækkert poolområde, men manglende god service og stemning ved poolområdet. På værelse var der ikke kaffemaskine eller gratis vand dagligt, som jeg ville forventede for den type hotel og standard. Service var god og dejlig mad. Eneste mulighed er dog en Michelin anerkendt restaurant - så bliver hurtigt meget fint og dyrt alternativ til middag hverdag. Samlet set var vi tilfreds med opholdet og det lå virkelig flot, men manglende lige det sidste touch for at leve 100% op til vores forventninger.

The remote location was tranquil and much of the surrounding area stunningly beautiful. The hotel was smaller than it appears on the website, particularly the courtyard area, we booked a prestige room expecting something a bit special, what we got was a room poorly laid out and lacking any real charm. Staff were polite and courteous but overall not making your stay special, the room had no outside space and due to being an old Monastery was dark inside, not much can be done about this, but an outside space could have easily been created. We ate twice in the restaurant, normally there are two, but COVID reduced this to one, we understand the reasons, but no one told this before we turned up! The restaurant that served us was poor, the food was bland but at prices you would expect far better. When we ate out the standard was far higher and much better value. It is difficult to know how much of the failings we experienced were down to COVID and how much was just how it was, probably somewhere in the middle. However this is not a 5 star hotel, it has 5 star prices but the overall experience is well below this.

Excelente hotel com clima da Toscana. Estrutura com muito conforto e excelentes restaurantes!

Very nice hotel with beautiful grounds. Downside is the quality of food; the fine dining restaurant has pretenses but does not deliver at all. The casual dining restaurant is in a beautiful spot and food is a bit better but not what one expects in a luxury Italian hotel.

The very well maintained classic property, the surrounding and the service level (especially maî·tre d'hô·tel)
