Panalee Koh Samui Resort

Hotel con excelente relación calidad precio. Estuvimos en una casa con dos habitaciones y un cuarto de baño. Hay que cruzar la carretera para ir a la playa. Fuimos en familia y estuvimos bien.

At first we were worried about booking this place because of the mixed review, but when we arrived, we were so impressed and instantly felt like we made the right choice. I stayed there with two other girlfriends. We each had a "POOL ACCESS ROOM" right next to each other. Below is a list of my many pros and a few cons about this place: PROS: - best value for your money, we paid approximately $40/night; you cant beat that price - the pool access rooms are beautifully decorated and are the best rooms in my opinion - air condition is on point; it was nice to have a cold room after a day out in the sun - bathroom has both a standing shower and a tub - walking distance to Bang Po Beach and lots of local Thai Beachside restaurants; they don't open until 8am, so breakfast can be tricky if you're hungry earlier in the morning - there's an amazing beachside massage spot within walking distance (across to street to the right); my friends and I got massages everyday for 300 baht; one of the highlights of our trip; the ladies there are so friendly and amazing - there's a 7/11 really close by (about a 2 minute walk); so convenient for water, snacks and Chang runs - this spot feels really local and chill; Chaweng is infested with tourists and it was refreshing to come home to Bang Po after a day in Chaweng where we can relax and have a quiet place to rest - free wifi in the guest rooms CONS: - if your'e looking for a place that is in the middle of the "beach party and shopping scene" this is not it. Panalee is about a 20-30 minute ride to Chaweng; it is quiet here and there's no shopping around this area; it's mostly (amazing) beach side restaurants Overall, we loved loved loved this place.

Vi besøkte hotellet i juli som er lavsesong, men vi hadde ikke forventet å bli så skuffet som vi ble. Hotellet ligger IKKE på stranden. For å komme til standen, som forøvrig ikke er mulig å bade i da det er langgrunt, må man over en høyt trafikkert vei uten fortau. Etter klokken 10 på kvelden er alt stengt, og hele hotellområdet uten noe form for belysning, så man må ha lommelykt for å komme seg til hotellrommet. Det var ingen bar eller restaurant på hotellet, og bassengene var skitne. Selv om vi hadde betalt for 11 netter endte vi opp med å forlate hotellet og dra videre til Lamai Beach. Jeg vil ikke anbefale Bang Po eller dette hotellet til noen.

수영장이 2개 있는데 그럭저럭 놀기 좋아요~ 해변은 놀기에 별로라 그렇지만 한 번 묶고 갈만 합니다~

We had a room with direct pool access, which was great! Breakfast was ok and the restaurant accross the hotel was really nice.

Hôtel très bien, il faut traversé la route pour avoir accès à la plage. Mais c'était bien.

We have spent there like 5 or 6 nights and simply loved that place! Quiet, clean and modern hotel located in the north of Koh Samui. There are two pools in this resort (during our stay usually completely empty), pretty good free Wi-Fi in the rooms, really good breakfasts and a beautiful empty beach on the other side of the road. If you are looking for a realxing place in Koh Samui you are going to love it! If you are looking for hundreds of pubs/strip clubs/etc though, go to Chaweng Beach:-)

Quiet,Clean,bigroom and value price.But far from airport.

I stayed at Panalee for a week at the beginning of March. The property is very good value for the money: pools and common areas are beautiful and rooms are nice. The area is okay, but not the best. There's a smattering of restaurants and storefronts across the street (and you're very proximate to a 7/11). You will need a motorbike to get to most of the main areas of the island. This is especially a problem if you don't get included breakfast; many of the area's restaurants don't open until late morning (10 am-ish), and the breakfast at the resort is 200B and not worth that much. Wifi is absolutely abysmal and pretty much unusable at peak times. The main drawback for me was the service when things went wrong. In one instance, the minibar wasn't fully stocked when we checked in; the next day, we found a bill for the items they had forgotten to stock. The last day of our trip, a new housekeeper threw away or otherwise disposed of a bag of our souvenirs from the market (they were in a plastic bag, as is standard for anything from the market, but they were not anywhere near a garbage can. She also threw away several other plastic bags in the room that were not intended to be thrown away--we often reuse them--but at least those were empty). Reception did not apologize for either of these instances and tried again to bill us for the minibar at checkout after we had already taken the mistake bill down to them days before and explained. When we again refused to pay, the receptionist dismissed us very curtly. In other words, this is a good choice if you are confident nothing will go wrong, but I was very soured on my experience by the poor service.
