Bluefin Bay on Lake Superior

It was cozy. Loved the shower. The only thing we didn't like was the bed wasn't very comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable. Had all the amenities we needed. We ended up needing to bring our dogs and they were able to accommodate us with a pet friendly room. Our dogs were very happy here as well! We enjoyed the bluefin grille and the coho cafe. The outdoor hot tub was a treat to enjoy with a beautiful view of Lake Superior. We would stay here again.

We loved this property! You cannot beat the lake views through the floor to ceiling windows. It was perfectly located by so many of the hiking trails we came to hike. We loved it so much, we are coming back with our kids!

Our room was located within walking distance of both restaurants. Our waiter at the main one was great, very personable and efficient. We were only there 1 night but want to go back again for a long weekend. Definitely recommend the Bluefin Bay!

The service at the Grill was utterly chaotic, with items delivered out of order or not at all until servers (there were several, and it was never clear whether anyone was in charge) were reminded. The food at the Grill was unremarkable at best. Service, food, and prices were much better at the bakery.

Liked the location and the walking path between different areas of the resort property.

For a “spa” resort it was nice. Only downside is there was a family with young kids…no problem. However certain areas were left unmonitored and the actual PARENTS werent being considerate of where they were at. Potentially should be a certain age + resort being that its a “spa” resort. Example - in the outdoor pool - parent throwing a football and hitting random guests (us) in the head without apologizing…and then proceeded to throw in the air sinkable toys by the dozen…resulting in splashing and guests having to leave the area. No staff to address in the area. Lock doors also sometimes didnt work, maintenance maybe a bit behind.
