Bluefin Bay on Lake Superior

Ski trip. Excellent location with respectable price

I heard good things about blue Finn inn. So we booked it for a 2 night get away. We cancelled our second night because I didn’t sleep. We stayed in the cheapest unit (hillside). It was too small and with no lobby close by to go to. We felt closed in. The window coverings should have the privacy window blinds so people can’t see in as they are driving by or walking by. The window faces the driveway and road. There is no light above the microwave/ fridge area which would be good to have since it was hard to see and lack of lighting in the room. The staff were wonderful and helpful. We enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and hot tub. We received our refund for the second night, no problem. If we come back we will spend twice the amount on a room with view of the lake with more room.

Very nice, modern, and clean room and facilities. I liked having Caribou Coffee with creamers and a good quality television with optional streaming capability.

Had the best eggs Benedict at the Coho Cafe!

Complimentary Smores #1, the staff #2, the scenic nature on Superior, outdoor hot tub, all of it was just fantastic

Tough parking upon arrival; wonderful bar and food service

We had a great time and really enjoy being able to be outside around the fire!

Can’t beat the location or amazing lake views. The bedding/towels were of high quality. Loved the wood burning fireplace as well
