The property was ok

Breakfast was ok

I always stay here when in Ct but this time it was just ok. the staff wasn’t as friendly and the breakfast was good the first morning but then the next morning it was like they had leftovers. the eggs was full of veggies and looked gray with a lot of water. When I asked if they had any plan scrambled eggs, the guys said No they had nothing. The tables were dirty needed to be wiped. other than that. I always thought Hyatt was a great place and a decent price. Room was clean and comfortable. Although we could have used 2 pillows, we only had 1 per person. I’ll be staying again and hopefully breakfast is better 😊

The best thing about this place is its central location to Stratford, Bridgeport and Milford. Lots of restaurants within walking distance as well. Our room had a view of the ductwork. When we asked for a different room we were told that none were available unless we wanted to pay an upgrade. The hotel did not appear full. The hotel is under renovation which was not listed when we made reservations. Rooms are tired and bare bones. We didn't have hot water and were told we might need to change rooms but there would be a wait even though we had an event to attend. Thankfully, the engineer was able to restore the hot water. Breakfast isn't worth it. Coffee was good and the bed was comfortable. Also, check your statement. We were charged for an upgrade that we didn't use. Will stay elsewhere on future visits.
