SpringHill Suites Pittsburgh Southside Works

Stayed for 10 days, this was our second time staying at this location and we will return. Very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Breakfast was great. So many options. The room was comfortable and spacious. Hot water in the bathroom. Sink outside the bathroom door so someone can get ready while the other showers.

The train tracks right beside the hotel. Active all night long. I am a deep sleeper, so I was only awoken once (when the train blew its horn right beside the hotel) but my wife is a light sleeper and had multiple occasions of being woke up.

the hotel is next to a train station where there must have been 12 to 15 trains all night long while you try to sleep. because the tracks are right behind the hotel it's impossible. to have to pay $30 a night for parking plus tax is just plain out Fair I can't believe Marriott would nickel and dime their customers for the extra 35 bucks

Breakfast was perfect for buffet style. Fresh items constantly being replenished and station was very clean

Frequent trains just outside of window makes it hard to sleep.

The only bad part about the stay were the trains (freight?) running from about 1230am onward, just about every hour, which would rumble and blow their horn, making it impossible to get a good nights sleep. Not sure if this is a nightly occurrence, since we were only there one night, but we wouldn't want to risk it again. It's a shame, because the hotel was nice, and the area around it was nice. Just the trains ruin any chance of sleep.
