We thought the bed was super comfortable and the room itself was warm and spacious. Parking was easy and plentiful and overall it was quiet on my floor.

The bathroom needed a bit more cleaning. There was scum around the drain, which made us wonder when it was cleaned last. Additionally we were in a suite with a desk and the chair was stained with blood.

We recently stayed at this hotel due to a sudden death in the family, hoping for a comfortable and accommodating place during a difficult time. With three children, we specifically chose this location because it advertised a pool for the kids and a hot tub for my husband and me. Before booking, we called to confirm these amenities would be open, and we were assured they would be. On Sunday night, the pool and hot tub were open, and our children enjoyed some much-needed relaxation. However, when we returned from the funeral on Monday, the hot tub was closed. The front desk staff informed us it was due to tiles falling off the sides, but after leaving a review, I received a response saying it was closed due to weather. This is an indoor facility, and the weather was consistent throughout our stay, so this explanation was both misleading and frustrating. It’s upsetting to feel as though we weren’t given honest communication about the situation. The breakfast was another disappointment. Both mornings, the waffle maker was broken, yet all the toppings were laid out as though it was functional. Another guest mentioned it had been broken for days. The rest of the offerings were subpar—scrambled eggs with sliced hot dogs and bagels with no toaster or cream cheese. After the first morning, we decided to leave the hotel and pay for breakfast elsewhere. These issues reflect a lack of attention to detail and an overall poor experience. What’s most concerning is that this experience does not reflect the standards I associate with your hotel chain. This felt like a misrepresentation of your brand, and I would strongly encourage management to address these issues with updates to the property, better maintenance of amenities, and additional training for staff. Families like ours rely on accurate information and a certain level of quality when choosing where to stay. I would hate for another family to experience the same disappointment during an already stressful time. Please take these concerns seriously and ensure this location aligns with the high standards that your brand is known for.

Clean, safe and friendly

The general condition is just old and degraded. They keep what is there clean though. Some of the staff for very kind and helpful. Others were extremely rude and unhelpful, so it was really just hit or miss. The pool was ice cold, which is just annoying and shows how much the company cares about the guests. Also, we were told we couldn’t use the common area at 7pm because there are 1st floor guests. We were a group of 10, 40 except 2 kids looking for a place to be able to sit together after we all got into town for the holidays. We weren’t in any way going to be loud but that didn’t matter, it was an automatic ‘no’, at SEVEN pm.

Good basic value. Reliable quality. Good breakfast. Great night clerk at check in.

No housekeeping on our first day. I thought at first they would have comped us the sodas we got given that our room was not cleaned. But woman at check out said they only offer housekeeping every other day! I didn’t see any notice of that. Would have been nice if we had been warned. And sodas were NOT comped. Chintzy.
