Waterfront Inn - Mackinaw City

This is obviously an old property, but it was clean and comfortable.

It is a good area to be close to the ferry but has a lot of problems to these. Our room had hair chunks in corner of walls, but ur doorlock was duck tapped instead of a lock, and it did not smell great. It is not the pictures on as seen on here.

The room definitely wasn't what we expected horrible stay the lights didn't work si the ran an extension cord in our room pool was closed and microwave didn't open unless you unplugged it and plugged it back in dont recommend staying here very disappointed

Water was dangerously hot and couldnt control shower. Unsafe walking conditions outside.

Nice room on beach. Pool and hot tub were green and unusable. Beds were like sleeping on a box spring. Room was nice loved location. I wish our first floor balcony would have given access to beach. Better beds and I would give the place 3.5 to 4 rating.

The hotel was not even staffed for check in. Sign posted on the lobby door stated to go to neighboring hotel to check in. This hotel’s staff was friendly, however, all she could do was give us our room key. The room and hotel was so dilapidated it appeared unsafe to stay. The room also had a strange odor. We actually found a different hotel to stay at and returned the room key. The neighboring hotel staff stated she didn’t blame us. Unbelievable!!

My family came in for one night and just needed a place to sleep, nothing fancy. The price for this place was better than nearly all other hotels and was reasonable given it was a holiday weekend. However, the 'indoor' pool was in a building with the windows open (so not so much 'indoor') and the water was green. Certainly not inviting, so we obviously didn't swim. It is located just south of town so out of the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy what Mackinaw City has to offer. It is also right on the beach so that was nice and convenient. We essentially needed a bed and a shower and that's what we got. Nothing fancy.

Place is terrible felt like i would need disinfected if we stayed there. So we went and found something else. Would like to see a full refund. Pics were completely mis leading. Did not even have anyone in office to check us in. Had to go to a different property to check in. The poor gal who checked us in. I felt bad for her cause she couldnt do anything for us.

Beds are rough..The pool is green ao could swim. The hotel room was smell of chemicals. The office was of no help. Ibwont be back tonstay at this inn.
