Location

Sun beds are awful. Uncomfortable and too low to get out of. Nescafé coffee in room is also awful. Hot tub is not hot. But all else makes up for the inconveniences.

The hotel is situated in a perfect location to enjoy Nerja. We arrived in Nerja via Alsa bus service from Malaga. The bus station is walking distance to the hotel (approximately 10 minutes walk). The hotel is in the middle of Nerja surrounded by a church in the square, restaurants, bars, cafes, ice cream vendors, clothes, leather, shoes & souvenir shops. The staff at the hotel are all pleasant and helpful. Our room had a sea view, was a nice size with comfortable beds. My husband used the gym and said it was good. We ate lunch twice and on both occasions the food was very good. The breakfast had a wide selection of food options to choose from. Thanks everyone at the Balcon for a lovely stay your all welcoming and give exceptional service.

I didn't like the coffee selection from the machine at breakfast (all tasted a bit sweet)
