Woodall country house and spa has to be one of the best accommodations we have stayed at! The room is spacious and clean! And comfortable beds. I am here at the moment with my husband and two boys ages 4 months and 4 years old. And I have a nut allergy and they have catered every way! Made dinners for us that aren’t in the menu to cater for my allergy. They have made dinners for my son. The freshness of the food is amazing. We also have had a baby that’s teething and been unsettled at evenings and they have brought the food to us. There is one person I will never forget and it’s Freddie! His such a beautiful soul. Supported us in the stay helped us when baby been unsettled by arranging the dinner in the room! Making sure we are okay and there if we need anything! During my stay all I have seen is him caring about his guest making sure his okay. I have seen him run around making sure everything is okay! His what makes the place amazing and without him I don’t know what the experience would be like. The staff here are wonderful and so lovely and I hope they realise how much they have made this stay incredible! I am so grateful to all the staff and Freddie. Also what I love about this place is the little touches that make the heart feel loved! I really hope Freddie knows how much his loved by the guest and how much we have appreciated all he has done for us. The pool and spa is fantastic and clean! The beautician is lovely and treatments are amazing. The breakfast is lovely and fresh! I can’t wait to come and visit again!

Simply outstanding hotel near Addo Elephant Park. Special mention for Edwin on front of house who accomodated our dietary needs perfectly. The food was simply spectacular at both breakfast and dinner and the setting overlooking a pond with weaver birds is very special. The photos dont do justice to the welcome you receive as the futnishings are a little old school, but the room size and facilities are very good. Trips to Addo on their landcruiser were easy and trouble free.

It was excellent! Big rooms, clean, comfy, friendly and helpful stuff, near to the main camp.

This has got to be one of the most beautiful places to stay in S. Africa. We were lucky and received an upgrade which was perfect. The staff are extreemly friendly including all those with responsibilities and includes the chamber maid, just everyone. I would recommend this hotel in all aspects whether it be the location, the rooms, the service, the restaurant, the safari tour. We had a lovely time. Thanks to you all, David

The food was very good and the menu was imaginative and varied which was nice for those on a longer stay. Both management and all the staff team alike were warm, efficient, kind and caring, and nothing we asked for was too much trouble. The atmosphere is relaxed and we felt very much at home. We were self driving in the Addo park each day, and it was only a few minutes drive from Woodall so it was great to have some time game watching and then come back for a swim or spa treatment and laze in the lovely garden or on our private terrace.

Nothing. We were very sad to leave at the end of our stay.
