We had the most wonderful time at Woodall! The entire staff is incredibly kind and attentive, with little handwritten notes in our room every day and hot chocolate prepped for us after we got home late after a game drive. Freddie helped us organize an amazing game drive in a nearby reserve. The room was super spacious, beautiful and cozy, with an amazing bathroom and outdoor shower. The food was outstanding and the grounds are beautiful to walk around and explore, or just sit down and listen to the birds or read a book from the library. Spa treatment was great too, so I can only wholeheartedly recommend staying here!

"Impressive and enjoyable place for nature lovers close to Addo elephant park."

Woodall Country lodge has exceeded our expectations, honestly. Hidden in Addo and close to Addo elephant park, you reside on citrus farm, enjoying spacious rooms with the option of interior and exterior shower. The interior has been managed with love and dedication by the owners, one example which makes South Africa so special. Freddie, the friendly hotel manager arranges everything for you, the parking, the check in, the breakfast and dinner. When he recognized that we were interested in the birds at the breakfast veranda (weaver birds, red bishops, ducks, kingfishers) he arranged a breakfast table directly under the weaver tree. For dinner he played the piano and accompanied the excellent food (lamb shank) with a bottle of South Africa red wine. We never will forget about this unexpected experience.

Everything was perfect for us - so different and so special, so nothing negative to say

wonderful, comfortable and well equipped rooms. Dinner and breakfast. Staff. Gardens. Our room upstairs was absolutely top. the second room see below.

the room on the groundfloor was moldy and should be taken care of.

"More than warmhearted reception, beautiful place, would go again"

we've been first to another place, where we did not want to stay and booked spontaniously at 21:30 2 rooms at the Woodall and arrived around 22:00pm.....although everything was already closed, they received us warmheartedly with drinks, opened the terrace for us.....Freddie even payed piano, while we were taking our welcome drinks....rooms are clean and nicely furnished, the beds are good, big and clean bathroom, outside shower.....safe parking, everything good
