Boardwalk Lodge – Self-Catering

The view was amazing. The staff was very helpfull with the self checkin.

The villa was stunning, so spacious. Parking right outside.

The stunning views and BBQ facilities. Dean and his team were great, very helpful and friendly. Wilderness was a lovely place to stay, plenty to do and great restaurants

There were a lot of steps, but we were well warned and the view was definitely worth it.

Great location near wilderness village and friendly staff who helped with bags to the room. The view of the beach was fantastic.

The pool was not accessible although the hotel description made it seem there was a pool included. Staff said this was for other guests.

The staff were very good and helpful. Bedding was fresh everyday. The view from the balcony was really good.

The lodge, Studio 4 was very run down and it was clear that there was a total lack of investment and upkeep. I had found out that the owner had the business up for sale and clearly didn't want to spend anymore money on it. appalling state of affairs, specially then they were charging at 4/5 star hotel rates. The way the kitchenette was designed made it almost impossible to do anything more then making tea, coffee and toast. This aspect made life very difficult for us as we had intended to make some simple meals for ourselves, which we had to abundant. The company website is misleading as it shows a swimming pool without mentioning that it is only for use by the B&B clients. The location is so high up, say may be 50meters from ground level meant that a car was the only way to get up/down to the rest of the town. This is not for the elderly or infirm.
