Cliff Lodge

The location on the cliff tops gives an outstanding view of the ocean where the Indian meets the Atlantic. We were there in February, one can only wonder at the spectacle when the whales are around in October/November. They have an honesty bar which works well and there are several decent restaurants nearby. The staff are second to none.

Nothing that they were responsible for could have been improved upon. They were let down slightly by the intermittent electricity supply whilst we were there.

The welcome, extremely helpful staff.A perfectly equipped room , comfort being at the forefront. Delicious choice for breakfast overlooking that wonderful view. Hands on owner , Gideon , runs a perfect Lodge.

The view especially and the help and advice enthusiastically provided by Gideon, the owner. A wonderful breakfast was provided and served by a delightful staff.

Load shedding was unpreventable but annoying , some light was still provided. Really there is nothing bad to say about this lovely place!

The view from the breakfast room is unbeatable. The hosts, Gideon and Gill, attend to every need and are passionately dedicated to ensuring their guests have the very best time. Gideon provided me with so many tips about interesting things to do locally and further afield in the Western Cape. The breakfast was divine and food orders very flexible with a large choice of options. The lodge’s employed staff were amazing. Cliff Lodge a great place to relax, unwind, find inner peace and appreciate the vastness of the sea.

stunning view,fantastic clean property, would recommend, great for seeing whales. great breakfast, helpful with places of interest in the area. staff extremely helpful and pleasant couldn’t do enough for us. even booked an evening meal prior to arrival.
