Cliff Lodge

Everything was flawless. The room and the house were spotless and comfortable. The views are spectacular. The breakfast and the coffee were amazing and there are beautiful walks in the area. But what made it extra special was the team. They genuinely love what they do and love people - Gideon shared local knowledge of places to go and recommended great places to eat which we wouldn't have found on our own. Priscilla is beautiful person who made us feel extra special and pays attention to detail.

There was nothing negative

What an amazing stay this was. We saw whales right at the shore from the moment we walked into Cliff Lodge. Amazing breakfast, best we had. Gideon, the owner, is extremely helpfull in planning your day and give great tips. Clipgat Cave walk was amazing, as well as the Big Marine 5 boat excursion.

This is a great place to stay, if you're thinking about booking you definitely should! We would have enjoyed staying longer. The views are amazing (with or without whales - we were lucky enough to see many) the views really make your arrival special. The rooms are well equipped and super comfortable and the hosts are brilliant! Welcoming us, making sure our stay was good, pre-booking dinner for us and giving us recommendations for our onward trip. You are close to other towns to explore too and we enjoyed stopping in Hermanus for coffee and horse riding along Pearly Beach.

We only wish we could have had more time to chill at the hotel and along the cliffs and enjoy our surroundings! Also worth noting you're not within walking distance of places to eat for dinner, this wasn't a problem for us at all.
