Northwinds Motel

I have been using the same owners for 21 years and it is a wonderful location and view of the bridge and the Grand hotel on the island

It was right on the ocean!! It was great!

You get what you get for the price. $70 a night is a great price. Beds are comfy.... some of other issues people listed we did not encounter. Water was fine, ac was good, tv worked. Sure it could use renovations but then the price would go up. Decent for the price, maybe im just a simple person.

Veyr poor upkeep & maintenance

Water was brown,in extreme need of remodeling

Could swim right outside the slider door. Bed was very comfortable. Sand on floor from previous guest and no towels or soap. We had to ask for them

Staff friendly. Room not clean. Had to ask for towels. When received, they were damp. Window air conditioner over-the-top loud. Room quite ugly.

At check-in they assigned us to a room that had not been cleaned. Once in another room, we found that the bathroom was old and dirty. Everything felt icky. The walls were so thin that we could hear the adults and kids in the other rooms until after midnight. We could also hear the bikers across the dirt parking lot. I would not recommend staying here. We wanted to abandon this reservation and find a better place, but everyplace was full with no vacancies. The photos on Expedia were from their other hotel down the street.

They over booked our room and had a management turn over right before. The rooms are very old and poor quality even for the price.

Everything about this experience was intolerable to include a none functioning shower.
